For those saying her voice isn't great anymore, please keep in mind that she's 53 and was an avid smoker for 30+ years. Due to the wear and tear on her vocal cords, her voice is not as strong as it once was. That's normal. I'm sure now that she's quit smoking, her singing voice will improve over time. In my opinion Lisa is still one talented lady and such an inspiration!

I truly enjoyed this! I was in college when she broke out in America. Great memories of the time and Ms. Stansfield's music. I still have her on cassette.....she is a subtle talent and most definitely one of the great voices of the past 25 years. Smooth and classy. Grown folks music!

I am in love with this woman!! The band is so splendid and the background girl is total ACE! I saw this concert in a small venue (XOYO) last autumn and the atmosphere was so electric. LISA still is one of Britain's finest performers. I am wondering how she would sound with Jamiroquai on some new funky s**t? That would be the duet of my dreams.

Started watching Lisa's concerts on KZread since never had a chance to see her live. Her performance in Ronnie Scott's 2002 was the best. Two great backup singers and her amazing band at its best. Just a lousy crowed who couldn't dance. I can't believe Lisa was able to perform to such a stiff crowed! I will always continue to support this amazing singer.

LOVE me some Lisa. i listen to her almost everyday. thrilled she has returned to the public eye and is doin' gigs. excited to hear her sing again. her voice sounds healthier considering all the damage she has done to it by smoking. she sung her butt off and her voice SOARED on Affection, So Natural, Real Love. the range and her navigation through it was unique & the reason she sold so many records. Like Whitney Houston, addiction got in the way of preserving her once remarkable instrument.

Scrolled down comments and saw references of people reacting to negative comments regarding Lisa's voice so I stopped. Wish KZread had a comment sorting system like New York Times so I could tune out the haters and read only the most useful comments. Love you Lisa forever!! Just finished watching the whole show on stereo..Enjoyed it thoroughly! Lovely atmosphere ! Was doing my post graduate studies in Manchester Northern England in the early 90's where Lisa and Simply Red were the pride already making British R&B music globally popular having gotten themselves established just a few years earlier on the music scene almost around the same time I believe. Lisa is still classy & has matured gracefully. Congrats to the Jakarta Jazz Festival for this brilliant production. Love from Malaysia.
