Lisa's Crusting Buttercream

Let's face it, buttercream is delicious and this recipe delivers. I've been using this buttercream recipe for the past 22 years and it's a huge hit with all my customers, families and friends. In this video, I go step-by-step on how to make this delicious buttercream and the advantages of using crusting buttercream.
Recipe for Single Batch:
1 cup Salted butter (2 sticks)
1 cup Alpine Shortening or Crisco
2 tsp of clear vanilla flavoring
1 tsp of butter flavoring
4 Tbsp of water
2 pounds of powdered sugar

    I prefer salted butter to "smooth" out the taste of the sugar.
