That's so true. I think we all understand that at that point it's useless to hold negative feelings when remembering love makes one feel so much better about your loss

I can appreciate her honesty about Michael on here. And about how she really felt.

This interview just made all my doubts about the reality of their love disappear. She seems so honest and hurt, I feel nothing but empathy for this gorgeous woman , rest in peace Lisa

It's so strange that people are finally getting how much she and MJ loved each other now that they are both gone. Lisa had been saying the same thing for YEARS. That MJ was completely different in private and that their love was real. You can literally go back and read all her interviews and she's consistent for 25+ years. The only thing that changed after he died was that she wasn't angry anymore. She let her guard down. She was always honest, but it was harder to see the love and pain behind her words because of her defensiveness.

@@Bella-mx7rl You must have missed the Oprah Show where Lisa and her mother trashed Michael horribly and were laughing about her even marrying him. She also did the same thing when Diane Sawyer said to her. "What the hell were you thinking" when talking about the marriage. It was only after he died and she looked so horrible that she did this interview. She even admitted that he called her in 2005 and she blew him off.

@@debra2700exactly! From 2003-2009 Lisa trashed MJ horribly. She only changed her tune and did this Oprah interview after he died. She did it because she knew she trashed him for years and she would look terrible. She trashed him when MJ was only respectful to her over the years.

First I deeply appreciate Lisa Marie for loving and understanding Michael truly. She is such a pure, honest and beautiful human being. I miss you Lisa and Michael❤

this idea was promoted from her mother - the Priscila something but not and real Presley. She was caliming and still claims that it was an advertisment for Michael using and abusing the Presley's name - something which Priscila make trough whole of her life and something which is a total true for her way of using and abusing! Of course it wasn't real. it was a publicity stunt to get away from the pedo stamp. And Michael went ahead and became a father just a few months after they slip. Wake up. On top of that, Michael was clearly gay. He is the most effeminate man I have ever seen. Joking about wanting to marry Elizabeth Taylor. I mean, you cant get more gay than that. I remember exactly where I was when Elvis died. Same with Michael. And heartbroken over Lisa Marie. I loved her music. RIP, LMP.

I remember when they announced this interview, I was so eager to know what Lisa would say. I didn’t know much about her prior to this, except for the obvious. I’ve loved her ever since. I am still grieving for her 😢

She always seems so genuine, down to earth real and kind. I reckon she'd be a pretty awesome person to know as a friend.

No she didnt. She actually died from a bowl obstruction. Complications from a previous gastric surgery. Her small intestines strangulated and died and that killed her.

Michael never looked happier in his life than when he was with her, aww! If only he could have given her a little more time to decide to have a baby, I bet she would have had children with him. Remember, Ben was a month old when they reconnected, so Lisa already had a 4 year old, and an infant baby then, and I am sure she wanted to enjoy some Newlywed time with Michael Jackson when they got married, rather than have a baby (which stresses a marriage) right away.

Thankyou so much for posting this. It's heartbreaking how much Lisa loved Michael. Most of her songs are about MJ. Just a Dream, Weary, I Was Wrong, Over Me, Gone, Now What, Indifferent and The Road Between. She followed him around the world for 5 years after they divorced and even after that she was still sending him begging letters and making friends with his family to try and get him back. She stood by his coffin after everyone had left the funeral and left flowers in a vase engraved with the message ' I will always love you. Eternally. L x'.

Michael's family said Lisa Marie was crazy about Michael, and you could tell he was deeply in love with her, you didn't have to know them, LOL! It couldn't be more obvious when you see pictures, videos, and footage from their vacations together. They were deeply in love, and were together around 9 years or more. Some say they were together way before we knew about them being together even while she was married to Danny, and if you see pictures of their early courtship, they both looked so young and in love!

Agradezco a la persona que la compartió con subtítulos en portugués, tuve que buscar la activación de subtítulos en español de KZread, y la he vuelto a ver y recordar cada palabra que LMP mencionó. MJ y LMP se amaron genuinamente, lamento que las circunstancias y las diferencias hayan terminado en separación en el año 2000. Pero, lo que no soporto es la forma tan venenosa de Ophra Winfrey. Después de hacer hablar a Lisa Marie sobre Michael, le hace entender que no debería hablar sobre él teniendo a su esposo actual. Eso es ser una mujer venenosa. False. Started after the allegations but you can tell when he gets clean. The propofol came later and was only to help him sleep. He was not a drug addict. He wasn’t addicted during the marriage. Lisa said she never saw anything. Only when he was in hospital, because of the experience with her father, her mind immediately went to drugs but MJ was hospitalised for hypovolemic shock due to dehydration but because of her trauma, Lisa thought the doctors were lying, MJ was lying.. truth is she was so scared she was going to lose MJ like Elvis & didn’t want to go through that again so she divorced him to emotionally protect herself. Later she realised MJ wasn’t lying & she tried to get back but damage was done. He’d moved on with Debbie. He dated her but would not commit again.

Also, I'm sure his feeling changed after he got with Lisa and learned more about his life from her perspective. MJ fans are sometimes the worst. It’s not that she didn’t trust him. It’s the fact that she had to walk away from that marriage because he put his yes people before her she had told him the people that he had around him during their marriage was not appropriate, and he chose not to listen to her so she left to get herself situated and move on with her life.

And the fact that they spent four more years after they divorced, says a lot because he left her she left him, but in the end she again had to walk away from the relationship because she saw a pattern being repeated with Michael in regards to his. Yes, people did the same thing put his yes people before his wife and child, Michael and the situation, however chose to put his people before his wife, and she had to walk away, even though she loved him dearly.

Yes! Lisa Marie and Michael Jackson belonged together. Soulmates. It was like they were made for each other!

They were each looking to the other to save them. Emotional cripples. Very talented musicians; MJ had a certain charisma on stage. LMP struggled healthwise. Only the autopsy revealed her body turned toxic from a section of rotting intestine. Must have suffered lots and took to pain killers as a result, because doctors failed her.

Michael was killed by Conrad Murray who was tried and convicted of involuntary manslaughter. Still waiting on autopsy results to see what caused Lisa’s death.

Lisa died from a bowel obstruction. Complications from a previous gastric surgery. Her small intestines litterally strangulated and died on her and that killed her not drugs.

There was a young female Journalist interviewed I don't recall which mag said she was the one who put out horrible lies about Michael liking children. She said her husband had left her and their 2 kids and she needed money to support herself and her kids so came up with something outrageous to get a good reliable job at a certain magazine. She said she knew it was lie and she felt bad but she needed money more.

The world is starting to see Oprah for what she truly is.

When his CD with SONY had very poor sales, Michael blamed Tommy Mottolo and SONY for being racist, which they weren't and Michael claimed people were trying to kill him to get the rights to his catalogue of music. This coming from the man who stole the Beatle's catalog by way overbidding what Paul McCartney could afford.

It’s okay for her to be almost naked in his song "you’re not alone" but it’s not okay that he kissed her front of everyone!

Well the kiss was a year earlier than YANA, and she was more used to being his wife by then. Thee weren't thousands of people looking at her while they filmed the video too, and Michael made sure that she was comfortable every minute in the video. It was much more intimate.

It’s so annoying when Oprah asks Lisa Marie a question, and when Lisa Marie starts talking, Oprah interrupts her! And knowing who the true Oprah is, you can almost see her horns popping out.
