I agree, this song is very catchy. I hear it on repeat inside my head, everytime I play this song. I really like when these idols do their solo projects, because we all get to see their individual talents shine through. And, Lisa brought all styles of flavor to her song. I mean, she has checked all the boxes and more. She can sing, rap, dance. She has eye catching charisma and her flow is very on point. Like I said, she checks all the boxes in being an incredible performer. And, this video was entertaining. The visuals were outstanding, as well as that Hot rapping part in the song which was one hundred percent, Fire!! I am enjoying Lisa's solo journey. Anyway, great reactions as always, guys. Wich is crazy cuz we are not used to see she spitting bars that fast, I mean, Jennie is the one on BLACKPINK that does speed flows and Lisa more a swag slow flow BUT sometimes they reverse it, like their rap in So Hot (which is probably one their most iconic)Lisa was the one rapping fast and Jennie slow, so SHE CAN RAP FAST, now I'm look foward to more Lisa speed flows cuz if they give speed flows to her she really can rap fast, that rap suprised me, also "MONEY" is a masterpiece, basically has a vibe of "Crazy over you" but just her.. , .. I also basically knew she would have a pole dance and a desert scene, cuz I'm kinda these FBI Blinks lol jk, back in July some rummors of a desert or beach scene in her solo were spread, Since its Summer in Korea, so.. that made sense, and in her 1st teaser photo(the blured one) had a thing behind her but we didnt know if it was a pole or a light.. The MV felt like she really wanted to show everything and all her sides, what shes capable of because she might not be able to show it again in the future (knowing her company isnt into giving them more comebacks which is ridiculous at this point). As for the song this is definitely my type of song. Now if ure a fan of twice or red velvet this is def not your cup of tea. I like it simple and charismatic and thats what she did w the song if u ask me. It's not a really public friendly song and thats what stood out to me. She took me back to 00s (which is consistent w her album photobooks the whole creatives are based on 00s fashion i think). The song balanced it out w the massive scale of the mv it's like she brought us around the world haha. As for the choreo i felt downplayed st first but after seeing her first stage on jimmy, lisa doesnt even need choreo like her stage presence is insane even if shes just standing there. Lol overall i really love everything abt this single album

The peak is low and bottom base is similar to lotus and use to cover a hair bun Also, the castle behind her is Phanom Rung stone castle at Buriram which is her hometown in Thailand.

Yknow, 3 years ago I would have been so pumped for this. Now I went into this with no expectations and yet, somehow, I was still disappointed. Beat sounds like it was made in 10 minutes and the lyrics are excruciating. It's beneath her. The fact she's become the best selling 1st week female on Hanteo of all time for this pile of garbage is a fucking travesty. YG would be laughing all the way to Vegas if he wasn't already on trial.

@Mahdi Davami YG has made plenty of bad songs. Example: this one. If 'has a punchline' and 'has a rhyme scheme' are your bar for good lyrics, then that is an extremely low one. Production was simple and lazy. The bridge was the only remotely interesting part and even that was spoiled by throwing it back into that dreadful chorus. I hope she does have more to show us, because she is far too talented to be wasted on a song like this.

I agree. I know everyone is gonna bash you for this, but I genuinely don’t understand why everyone is raving about this song. I liked the MV and all, but the song (both songs, actually) were genuinely terrible. They also don’t represent Lisa at all. Lisa is a performer. A dancer. But she’s cute and humble off stage. Yet, somehow, YGE decided that for her solo, she’s gonna have a very underwhelming dance? And average lyricism? Which doesn’t represent her personality or style even the slightest bit like Solo represented Jennie’s and OTG represented Rosé’s? Am I missing something here? Her charisma is off the charts, which is why a lot of people gravitate to the song. It’s not because of the song, it’s HER they like. But the song just isn’t at her level.

"korean people do not understand what the good music" Not only false, but racist. "The lyrics have very strong punchline and rhyme scheme" A child could write lyrics with a rhyme scheme and a punchline. As I said, that's a very low bar. "Teddy is the best producer in korea according by bilboard" And he's gotten incredibly lazy, probably because he knows idiots will eat this slop up and thank him for it regardless of how good it is. "This song is old yg hip hop style with western sound" No it isn't. It's new style. There's no way you can compare this to older YG hip hop influenced songs like those of Big Bang. It's not even comparable to Blackpink's earlier songs. "It is prove you are not familier with yg and his style and music" I've been into kpop for 10 years. I'm very familiar with it. "If yg is not exist nobody care about kpop" While untrue, this point is still irrelevant even if it were true.

As said before, as a hip hop fan and a fan of plenty of YG groups' music, I dislike this and think it could have been so much better. I'm not an Army, either. Your projection is telling. Hmm i think saying it's a pile of garbage is such a strong word when a lot of people worked hard in this project. Tbh i actually prefer her basic sound compared to most grand bp or any kpop songs. In contrast to your observation, those kinds of songs actually make my headache but i wouldnt go as far as saying it's garbage because theres so much talent in there be it the idols or the people who worked behind it. Her sales are really high because shes so popular and her fans/fanbases are way way big. And honestly, her taking a risk of toning down and going back to basics is probably for self satisfaction (if you know her playlist this is definitely her sound) and for her fans. A wider audience is probably just a bonus.
