And...Damien Rice is dying inside. He said in an interview that one of the greatest moments in his life was meeting Lisa Hannigan...and the worst moment was losing her. And he blames himself...he admitted he was an asshole. It's a shame because he still loves her and she won't talk to him. Don't blame her but it's still sad...and touching in a way.

Even as she falls into the cult of personality (and the self-conscious coy game of self-promotion), Damien has rejected it. I feel bad for him, but I respect him for it. Good interview tho, and I wish her well.

i think there's a little flirt goin between the interviewer & interviewee here.

some people presume they are more creative than others - maybe i'm being unfair to say she does, she probably doesn't. Her cover versions are great, or original songs aren't great
