Ummm off the top of my head.....Sun Kil Moon, Laura Marling, Bill Callahan, The tallest man on earth, Kurt Vile ( acoustic stuff), Robin Pecknfold, Ben Howard, Weyes Blood, Devendra banhart (acoustic stuff) Marissa Nalder, Cass Mccombs, Bright eyes, Bon Iver, Chelsea Wolfe ( acoustic stuff), Kings of Convienece, Emma Ruth Rundle, First aid kit, Angel Olsen( acoustic), Lou Barlow( acoustic stuff), the clientele, Feist and others that elude me at the moment. Those are some that stick out in my mind. Click around on youtube and use the similar artist suggestions on last fm.

LilRedRasta Yes all very good artists, and all very different. Thank you. Covered a couple of them too. What stands out for me about Lisa though is her use of melody - not just the quality of her singing. Herbie Hancock also praised her use of quite unusual intervals.

Among the artists RedT mentioned, I also want to add Villagers, The National, Agnes Obel, Lucy Rose, Julia Jacklin, Junius Meyvant, Daughter, Other Lives, Bryde, Rosie Carney, some Low Roar stuff

Great stuff. She puts on a good show. I don't know if she'll have her 'band' or not like last time, but she's more than capable of holding you pretty spellbound on her own (like here) anyways. Hope you enjoy it!

Unreal, love covering this, whats with all the negativity about what she is wearing though? Since when does that matter? Sorry, that'd be me. Lisa's so delicious looking/sounding, I wanted to eat her. I got started, but stopped at just 'nibbling' her arms. I thought about the world without her (mid-chomp), 'tis one of the most magnanimous moments of my life (and a serious error of judgement).

You're so right....it's all about how she looks and what she's wearing. Not the sound of her voice, the notes she chooses or the words that she sings. Excellent musical insight! Well done!

Her voice is amazing. It reminds me of Sinead O'Connor.
