Well and truly deserved. Lisa has an amazing voice. She was so well known as part of the John Farnham team but also had a carreer of her own... John actually sang backup vocals for all 3 of his regular back up singers as well as a number of Aussie bands who where his mates

Lisa's terrific ... and proof that when you watch John Farnham, you're getting a package deal. The stage is bursting with talent, and John has always been superb in recognising it and giving his supporting team members their moment to shine. If you want another example ... check out the version of "Chain Reaction" from the Chain Reaction concert. Everyone on stage (Lisa included) had a blast ...

I knew Lisa when she was in a band called Short Circuit with Trevor Courtney (who was her partner at the time) and Roger McLaughlan. She is a fabulous women and singer. Its a pity there is no video of Short Circuit doing a song called Sailing (which was an original) It was a great song but I don't think they recorded it.

Actually that is how advertisements is, or was, pronounced. I think it was the English pronunciation which is now (apparently) out of favour. 😯

Brilliant singer and brilliant lady, and yes well deserved. She also should have won an award for clapping her cheek on stage with Farnzy, I haven't seen that version lol!
