A 2% solution is best practice. It also allows for a longer shelf life.

@wavesauce This is how you should do it in a big plastic easily pouring pitcher or media bottle. The single jar was for the video. Just make sure you do your calculations correctly.

Any lions mane lc recipe? Not having much growth with honey and it has a sediment.

Did it work better than 4%? It doesn’t seem like it would make that much of a difference.

Also I add bone peptone to my mix I think that does the most. So if I don't want a lot of growth real fast I won't put the bone peptone in it.

Do you find doing it jar by jar better? I usually just do an big pot then pour in jars

So for the video at the time I wanted to show one jar because it was easier to see but you should just measure out whatever you need and make one big batch. Good question

No you do not need peptone. You can actually do either or both

I see people talk about stuff and I try it. But stick with simple it works best. The more stuff you add the more you have to watch. And if you make it to nutritious it could also contaminate

@jackstraw I am sure there are plenty of other alternatives. You can just use corn syrup. They just want carbohydrates like us.
