it is quit interesting approach to understand , thank you again ! i am encourage to dig out further more on LCD , in future i need to be best maintenance man on electronics

This is a very good video, but you really didn't define or explain translational order.

I think it is just how much a mesogen can move. Short range is if you can predict the translation/direction of a given mesogen using the immediately surrounding mesogens, and long range is if you can predict the translation/direction of a given mesogen by looking at another very far away mesogen.
