Listening to it, my mind was opened to a whole new genre of music (liquid dnb). 12 years later, I've got a Batchelor's Degree in Computer Science, my wedding's in a month, I'm the happiest i;ve ever been. Truly blessed. I wish that everyone in the world experience this back in 201x when it came out.. One love

Honestly, the whole mix is feels like a period of time unravelling in my brain... 2023 has got some real drum and bass talent, but I can't help but feel something was left behind in 2012!

Because most of new music will never be this good. I've found a few new songs that feel like 2010ish DnB though and they're amazing.

God I love that bass at 49:50, a lot of these songs can't be appreciated without good quality headphones/speakers, hate it when people judge music while listening with fking laptop speakers

This mix introduced me to drum and bass as a genre back in 2012, been listening to all drum and bass/electro songs since, it's part of my daily life now, but nothing has ever come close to this masterpiece.

Drove home to this playing the other day, Lowered Mazda MX5 mk2 with a duce bodykit... blasting through B roads for an hour with all 146hp.... total happy place screaming along to this mix. After many years, this is the year mix I ALWAYS come back to. The other yearmix's are amazing, but have got nothing on 2012's energy. Thanks Maduk for this gift that keeps on giving.

This mix is what got me into Liquid DnB. When I was in Bali I started chatting to a random Dutch dude and when talking about music I randomly mentioned Liquicity and it turns out he was a big fan too and had even been to the festival a few times. Friendship locked in and we ended up hanging out again a few more times while we were travelling ☺

2020 and this is still my favourite liquidity mix.

Imo, this is still the best liquicity yearmix and that is saying something.

That Ghost Assassin mix at 8.50 is still the hottest piece of mix work I've heard in a decade. Knowing Maduk's style, he's probably spinning on 4 decks too

Though it is a VERY long mix, if you have the time for it, I think you should skim through the last hour or half hour of that mix and see if you like it. First time I heard liquid dnb was this mix, changed my life.

Even in 2020 this mix is still as powerful as it was when it was released. I still use this mix to get through heavy projects.
