Hi everyone!
In this video i am showing Indian traditional art called lippan art or mud mirror art. It is simple and easy to make. I tried it without cone instead i used M-Seal in this art work. i am happy with the outcome.. Hope you liked it.

    Nice work! Being a native of this Art would like to draw your attention that this Art format is known as Mud Art (Mud Mirror Work) not Lippan. Mud Work & Lippan both done by same material but both are having different style/strokes. Lippan is a layering process with cow dung and clay on the walls/floor. While Mud Work is like a relif work a embossing and shaping clay on wall or wood. Mud Work is practiced by different communities of Kutch, Gujarat. They all have their own strokes/designs. Earlier this was also known as Chittarkaam (चितरकाम) by locals. I am practicing this art professionally since past 20 years. Young netizens wrongly popularized this as Lippan. It is pitiful to see native artists also calls this form of Art as Lippan. Thanks for reading my comment.

    Hi sanya.. thank you for your comment 😊 It slightly visible after you coloured.. after marking the design better to finish the clay work first then u can add colors. That would be even more easy.

    Hi 😊 i used clear varnish. I bought it from a local hardware shop. It is cheap and best. Thank you ❤️

    Hi... It is a 12 inch mdf board.. The Diameter of the circle is 30 cm. Thank you so much for your comment.

    Hi ❤️ yeah . we have to wait until it dries out completely. Probably it will take 4 - 6 hours based on the consistency of the base coating.. thank you 😊 keep supporting❤️
