The most important aspect of anything made in Italy is that is must be beautiful above all else - if the quality suffers on occasion because Paolo had a bit too much wine at lunch isn't such a big deal. My favorite is the Ti version because both scales have the same machining as the lockside. The main reason for the multiple deployment options is the variety of laws about blade deployment across Europe. The thumb disk isn't intended to be used to flick the knife open - it's supposed to be used for two-handed opening.

The all Ti TRE has been on my list of future purchases as well as the ROK. To me they are damn near perfect in terms of production knives. Awesome video yet again Wayne keep up the good work G ✊🏽

Great review bring us a great knife.

I really like the fit and finish on LionSteel knives, both on their folding knives and their fixed blades. The Myto is worth checking out too. Thanks for this.

Yeah, they are usually really nicely finished but that mislocated printing on the pivot is not great. I was going to mention the Myto as well because it's very much like a larger version of the TRE with a 3.375in blade and a removable flipper tab.

Happy to report the "bearings logo" on my TRE is properly centered. Whew !
