Shocks me to this day and I lived through it. The mass hysteria around MJ all the way up until his death. Literally every human on earth was a fan in the 80s. His impact was immense. Imagine Beyonce, Taylor, drake COMBINED wasn't HALF the impact of this man. The most beloved and famous human the world has ever known, still to this day.

Add the 70’s to the list. I would play his records everyday growing up and writing to his fan club waiting to get a letter back. “She wrote dear Michael” was a song on his album and I swear to this day he was singing it to me 😩 😢
