Lions vs Springboks | Self Drive 4x4 Botswana | Chobe4x4 | Ep 11
Me, my wife and the wildlife: Episode 11
Nxai Pan really shows off her beauty in this episode! One of our favourite days of this trip where we see herds of dazzling zebra and snorting springbok, termite alates lighting up the sky and predators on the hunt...

This is marvelous! The lions, the springboks, the music. And the zebras grazing in the background, acting too cool for school.

Hoo Ra. Spectacular. The vistas with rays of light streaming from the clouds. Tri focus of hunting lion, running impala, and grazing zebbies. Masterpiece! The zebra, the bat ear foxes, the jackals, lion fur ball, bugs and birds. Yes! All yes!

Thank you so much!
What excellent photography - wide views from sky to insects - and a great couple ; acknowledging mistakes and successes with enough humour for several good laughs. Long may they continue. Thanks for the downloads.
Candy for the eyes, ears and heart!
The production and editing was a class of it’s own 👏 bravo! Such an enjoyable watch!

That puking lion was hilarious
Thank you some much James for the info. Keep sending us your butiful footage.
The best parts: SOOOO many zebras! The beautiful sun rising to the sounds of Africa! Lioness in the middle with springbok running left(behind her) and right(in front of her)...looked like they were encircling her! Fantastic moments.....
Oh my God, the voiceover of the puking lion had me cracking up! Hilarious! 🤣
When I was guiding in Bwabwata National Park I'd always tell my guests that our zebras would make a massive migration south to Nxai Pan during the wet season. What a pleasure to actually see what that looks like now!
Let's see.... The Hunts...great music ...James and Kristin Hendry...great adventurer's... The African wild...spectacular. As I see it, it just cannot get any better.

Wonderful photography !! Those poor lions . They had as much chance of catching. Now if it had been an All Black . Well enough said . a Springbokken as a British Lions fullback would have of tackling a Springbok winger in full flight for the tryline. Now if it had been an All Black. Enough said.
That lion was just having a tactical chunder :D
Next-level footage 🤯

Don’t want a final episode 😓 love you both dearly!❤️
Omg James I could not stop laughing when you were doing the heaving noises with the lion! I absolutely love watching you and your wife’s videos. They have everything......great sightings, terrific music and the best comedy. Thank you so much for the video
Simply amazing to watch all of the wild life through your camera. It is such a privilege to be able to watch your wonderful videos. Thank you James and Kirsten
As always great puking sound effects James 👌
This episode from the lion roaring to the last second was magnificent. That poor lioness looked confused at all the springbok around her and she knew she couldn't catch one! Thank you as always for sharing your wonderful adventures with us. The camera work, editing, music, etc. are so fantastic. Loved the baby lapwing!
Thank you for this amazing Friday adventure. The music, photography, discussion...it’s all wonderful. I’m still recovering from surgery and each Friday y’all provide just the medicine I need. Blessings...
Absolutely fantastic on all fronts!!! Humor the way only James could do!!!
Hehe I love you guys and beautiful footage and music 🎶
Oh my goodness. Whistling zebra and puking lioness (with sound effects😹) and sublime hunting scene and that LIGHT!! Really wonderful in every way.
Another great day out with the Hendrys and more wonderful music choices. Thank you.

love the music yes
Excellent as usually, especially liked the music during the ellie bull and Jewell beetle segment.
Another BBC Earth level edit! Spectacular!
17:20 is such a lovely shot, with the out of focus lion passing behind the springbok.
So enjoy partaking in your trips. Thanks you 2 for sharing a part with us. Why I wonder did the Vov spring to my mind with your sound effects and the vomiting lioness ......haha...he would have been finished. I got a visual which I didn't necessarily want
Another awesome adventure with the Hendrys. Perfectly done. Thanks James and Kirsty for letting us tag along.
These lions look as though they've never seen a rough day in their lives. Perfect condition. Is it my imagination or are they huge? So nice to see butterflies & green grass whilst we watch the winter consume the Sabi Sands & its color. Fantastic music as usual. Love your love 💘
The "Ferrari Safari" bit made me nostalgic.... and just hearing you say the word "grebe" made my heart melt.....
You said it, James, SPECTACULAR. And dreamy. 👍🏼
The footage of the lion walking along with the springbok & zebras was incredible to see. Then the lion walking inbetween the hundreds of springbok like she was at a smorgasbord taking her time to choose her meal. It is a shame you had to go back to the camp while it was still light. Awesome video as always. Hi from Queensland Australia 💖
Beautiful stuff James and Kirsten
What a sight....magnificent !
You are a wonderful videographer. Such clear beautiful images.

what fun! from the heart melting closeup of the little jackal to the entertaining goshawk ,adorable b.e.foxes and sweet finches, the lioness surrounded by springbok looking like she was in the middle of a full butchery with not one morsel of steak within her budget topped it all off for a divine adventure! another well done m&m hendry!
Love it!
Lots of hard work on your side J&K, but boy, what a great overall outcome, everytime 💯👌

Many thanks!
( I’ve made sure my peepers are well and thoroughly in working order for this episode. So I don’t go thinking the Lion are Springbok and vice versa. Or thinking any of the birds shown in this episode are Antelope) ....... I still can’t get over such graceful and aesthetically pleasing looking Antelope coming out with vocalisations like they at times do......... And I know all good adventures have an ending but still I don’t want the next episode to be the last in this series. It’s been a thoroughly enjoyable brief sojourn in Mother Nature’s wonderful playground ............ ⚛️☮️ 💚🐾 🌏
These are my thoughts watching this episode: Waking up to beautiful Jackals! Sighhhh.. The Zebra camera work made me laugh! Im so sure thats the same Zebra that photo bombed last time! Very cheeky with the whistling! Loved it! The clouds were impressive. The, Pale Chanting Gosh hawk was fascinating to watch as it tried to break up the dung lump. Love Elephants, can never get enough of the grey beauties! The Bat Eared Foxes where delightful! I must say I was pretty impressed by the Springboks. Very brave being near the Lions like that! Last but certainly not least, the music through this episode was sooo enjoyable. Thank you both James and Kirsten so much for a wonderful episode. Just about my favourite so far. Blessings always
It was a fantastic sighting between lioness & springbok.
This was absolutely incredible work !! Wow everything was perfect ! The puking lion was so funny I laughed out loud thank you both so much ! When you make it to the real big time don't forget all of us little people that love you ❤️
I LMAO at James vomit-voiceover, So funny and perfectly timed. 😆 Also the lioness in the middle of what looked like a Springbok whirlpool ... thoroughly enjoyed, thank you for sharing Marianne NZ

Is there anything cuter than a Blacksmith Lapwing baby? I don't think so! I think if you close your eyes when around all those Springbok it sounds like a bunch of squeaky rocking chairs. At least that is how it sounds recorded. lol
Quality, from second 1 to the very end. Awesome episode!
Leave it to James to do a play by play of a vomiting lion! Loved the entire episode and series 💕💕💕💕💕
Stunning!! Your best yet!

Nice escape with the bat-eared foxes, James. Sounds like you were rather staring into the abyss there! Well done with the vomitting lioness, too. Another bucket list item ticked off! Loving your work.
I think this has been one of your best videos! Really enjoyed all of it.
Amazing episode 💚 Too many great sightings but I loved especially the baby blacksmith lapwing and the bat-eared foxes. Nxai Pan is just too beautiful!
Wonderful video. That sunrise was absolutely stunning. Thank you so much for sharing . 🤗
You have to teach me the ways of James Hendry... The videography I mean...
