Bakers basically a glorified backup at this point...I don't want to hear about injuries. At this point in the season nobody is 100% healthy so not going to buy that he's banged up BS.

Chubb needs 25+ carries a game. The guy is too good.

Ya same thing every year… teams won’t take big risks but when needed will score at will. The close games are deceiving. The Lions are not in these games most of the time they just appear to be. Today they had a chance but Boyle is not going to do anything. Another talentless individual in the club.

I’m a Case Keenum fan, my son played with him at UH, he may not be a top tier QB like he was in college but he’s dependable and a great guy. Browns are lucky to have him as a teammate.

Nick Chubb and the Oline is the entire offense and he is Amazing top 10 player in the Nfl

So one hard D'Ernest Johnson run and a hands to the face penalty made all the difference.

I am a Steelers fan but I must admit I have loved watching the Lions this year I tell you this if they keep this team together and have a good draft look out .

I agree man, as an eagles fan even though we blew them out they have had SO many close ass games and some against really good teams too. I think their coach rn is super underrated for what he's doing with the dumpster fire of a roster he's got rn. If they can start making smart management moves then I could see them having a winning season in a couple years maybe even more. I know it seems crazy to most since they're winless rn but if you actually watch their games you'd realize they're actually not nearly that bad as 0-8.

Steve never claimed Cleveland was terrible! Fan till I’m gone, but we got blessed with a bunch of easy games for the first half of the season other than the charges and cardinals the second half of there schedule is gonna be a lot harder. The ravens twice, the cardinals, Green Bay. Beating the lion by 3 when where capable of more isn’t gonna get it done against those teams. If they lose to the ravens twice after this by week it’s a good chance they might not even have a positive record. I’m hoping for the best tho

We got losses to KC in arrowhead, an incredibly hot Cardinals team, a live Chargers team and the Steelers ridiculous defense and referee unit in the early part of the year. That schedule is far from easy.

phantomcyrano I won’t debate that Cleveland has a very tough schedule but I will that the second half of there schedule is a lot tougher than the first. This has been Kansas down year 💯 even tho we caught them first game so we wouldn’t have known but there ok at best this year. The Steelers where finally starting to get their legs back under them, because of a very bad start to the season and even tho I do acknowledge there defense cause I’m a huge tj watt fan there still offensively weak and we couldn’t even get any stops. Another game we should have won but I do agree on the cardinals and charges, but we better buckle up cause the easiest game we got is the bengals at the end of the season and they no push overs either

Lot of people here in Michigan are GB fans, I'm one of em. I don't understand why all these Die-hard Lions fans are Lions fans, they say it's loyalty, I say loyal to what?? Lol

There was not 10 minutes of highlights in this game. Hell no. Baker is so frustrating. Living in Cleveland is tough….

Baker is playing with less than half a body right now. Torn labrum, fractured shoulder, knee contutions, injured ankle, etc. He's practically a Frankenstein out there. He won't go down. It's clear he hasn't been the same since constantly getting injured. He needs his surgery.

@@aldostanfield7802 Wasn't making excuses. It's a fact. Let's not act like his injuries aren't making him worse. He hasn't been playing well compared to him ending top 4 last year. He's the most damaged qb in the league rn.

Been arguing with my friends for the past two seasons that Chubb was the best PURE runner in the lg. They told me no it’s Saquon, no it’s Henry, no it’s Cmac, blah blah blah. But Chubb is an animal he’s the best runner in the lg imo. Derrick Henry is obviously 6’3 250 with elite speed at that size so he’s the only one I’d place above Chubb but pound for pound Chubb is my guy

Nick Chubb is a beast--makes all the difference in their offense.

@@hallowedkin7425 did injuries made him sack fumble numerous times vs Cardinals when he could’ve easily thrown it away after his healthy scrambles? Did injuries made him forget to learn how to take a sack vs the Chiefs while we had a timeout but instead tries throwing it away right into the defender? Did injuries had anything to do with 4th down plays him getting sacked instead of forcing any chance of a play to convert instead of giving the opponent better field position with the sack. Yes playcalling wasn’t great but execution on Baker’s end was worse. And now this game, massive overthrow on 8 man protection to wide ass open Landry on the post and goes way over right into a defender, then the second pick put us almost into a position to actually lose to a winless team if it wasn’t for horrible QB play and playcalling by Lions. Baker when healthy lost us to the Jets throwing 53 times with no TDs while Chunt was healthy. Baker when healthy also had a 21 INT season. Baker is just not it and hasn’t gotten any better, we weren’t winning games cause of him, we won games cause of O-Line, Chunt tiring their front 7, cause whenever games is on the line, Baker never once delivered

Aikman held Dallas back for years, imagine Warren Moon, Smith, and Irwin. Aikman was constantly hurt with concussions and inconsistent.

Because we don’t need Chubb injured… we already have Hunt out. And D’Ernest unfortunately wasn’t the answer during the Patriots game.

After the Swift TD I never realized the game ended

If they didn't have Chubb, they would have lost for sure. Baker needs to sit and get well. He is obviously playing poorly due to injury.
