LIONS and LEOPARDS FEAST

Rangers in Isolation: Episode 112.
Ranger Mike views the Kambula pride, Gowrie male and the Nweti male leopard in the south while Ranger Jaco finds the rarely seen Mlowathi male as well as the Nkoveni female in the north.
...
For all those who wanted to come to MalaMala but cannot, we'd like to bring MalaMala to you. In the coming weeks we'll endeavour to share with you everything from game drives to field work. Basically, what rangers do when we don't have guests. Enjoy and stay safe.

Don’t tell them I said this but I think that some of the sub-adult males with their tiny tufts of mane and slightly clueless air look a bit silly. I love them nonetheless and respect that they will-we truly hope-grow to be fearsome and regal kings. ❤️🐾😊 Thank you for sharing these great sequences, @MalaMala Game Reserve.

Mlowathi is one of my favorite leopards but I wish he were more relaxed so that he could be viewed more often. It's interesting to learn that he's seen from almost Central MalaMala through to Northern Sabi Sands. I didn't know leopard territories could get that large! Unless this is a similarly named male and not the one I'm thinking of, but seeing his face makes me think its the same individual.

@@michaelbarajas2495 I've heard from others that he's been seen near Arathusa Airstrip and has typically gone into Little Gowrie (the area directly South of Djuma and to the East of Chitwa Chitwa) so I'm thinking his territory is really oblong instead of nice and round.
