Alex, can I just say this is some of the best football content I've seen on KZread. What an atmosphere that was and what a game and to witness that must have been brilliant! It is so nice to see both Aussie and England fans get on together in the same area. If that had been the men there would have been punch-ups. Enjoy the final on Sunday and look forward to seeing your video when you've recovered.

They're teaching us fellas a thing or two. No diving for free kicks or malice either. (Apart from the little tread on the back). It wasn't exactly a stamp though. Some of those goals would be cherished by the lads too. They were world class. The Aussie ladies goal was on another planet. I'm just as excited for the women to be in a world cup final, than I am if it was the men. I dare'nt predict a score though cause anything can happen and some games you need a little luck on your side too. I'll shut up now 😁 Can you tell I'm excited? 🙄😂

I think we'd of won that world cup if it wasn't for the hand of God Incident. But you have to hand it to him for the other goal. Pure class 👌 It's a shame how he ended up though. 😒❤

when one talks about tragic footballers nothing compares to George Best. @ least Maradona played in and won a world cup, George Best was a brilliant player who could never shake of the drink demons. Imagine if he'd played sober how much more he could have achieved? Yet he was still brilliant even with his issues but he never fulfilled his true worth, Alas. @@VeteranHedonist

Definitely a little bummed but our Matilda's were amazing. This shows we should of had the tournament that went to Quatar by bribery because I really think we delivered an awesome spectacle for the world to see. Well done England and I'll be going for you in the final for sure. I'm also happy we showed those other sports what the World Game is all about. It eclipsed all viewing and attendance records in Australia and they will never be able to replicate it. ⚽⚽⚽⚽ Fooooooooooootttbaaaaaaaaallllllllllllllllllll !!!!!!!!!!!

The world has changed since my Father used to take me to see Chelsea play at Stanford Bridge way back in the 1960's

that was one the toughest games i`ve ever seen in women`s football , i loved it . good luck to you poms in the final . i`ve been to all 7 games in Brissie , i`ll be there tomorrow night for Australia vs Sweden . it`ll be great to see the Matildas one last time to thank them for bringing our country together . i`m a grandad , this world cup not only has put women`s football in the spotlight but all women`s sport . i`ve had a fantastic time mixing with all the fans from all over the world , it`s been like a carnival . enjoy the final on sunday girls , you have been a delight to have in our country . enjoy the remainder of you time in Australia . thank you for your enjoyable vids 🙌🙌👏👏💖💖💖💖👌

@@AlexBailess just got back from the Matildas Sweden game , even though we lost i had a great night . most stayed to clap the Mtildas and then waited to clap Sweden , they were gracious clapping all the fans . the world cup went too quick . just the final . Spain are definitely the best team in the world, USA are still 2nd best IMO. England come just behind along with Germany/Japan. We've come a _long_ way, but unfortunately Spain have cracked it just as their men have/did. The women are winning every youth tournament and now they're ready to win everything at senior level. I honestly think they'll dominate from now on. I don't know what it is about them but they sure have figured out how to coach their kids - unreal technique, the whole team. They pretty much played us off the park at the Euros and we were incredibly fortunate to win that one. I fear our luck is about to run out on Sunday. I can only hope it's not a complete mauling. There's always a chance we can rob them again but the odds aren't good. Great vlog BTW, Alex, I really enjoyed it. 👍COME ON ENGLAND!!!

They really wasn't even the underdog though, but I think the narrative to push a certain side as the underdog when it's just not reality doesn't work. Yes england we're technically the best side on paper, but with the other aspects Inc. Fans, home game etc -

Excellent Vlog. I bet it was absolutely amazing being there. The atmosphere was out of this world. The ladies put the men to shame. They seldom dive to get free kicks and there's hardly any malice towards each other. The crowds are safe and friendly, even the vast home crowd. To play like they did and win in a predominantly Aussie crowd, with the class they showed as well is a true mark of champions. I'd of been really nervous if I was there. Did you get any abuse from the Australian crowd, or were they all OK with you? I'd rather take my necessary and nephews to a women's game than a men's game. My home team of Burnley is a pretty friendly crowd, especially to visiting families in the away end, but this is another level. Are you there for the final? I know you said you're going, but did you mean to the actual match? That's so cool if you are because they'll be talking about it for years to come. You'll be part of history. That would be so cool. Enjoy and give a big cheer from all of us in Burnley. 😁 ⚽️ 🥅 🏟 😎✌ I dare'nt ask for a prediction incase it jinx's us . Come on the Lionesses 😊
