Lion's Mane Jelly Entertains Me During My Safety Stop 🪼

I encountered this rather large Lion's Mane Jelly during my safety stop on a dive at the famous Sund Rock Dive Site on Washington's Hood Canal in February 2024. These jellies are prevalent in the greater Salish Sea area but have a worldwide distribution in the colder waters of the Northern (and possibly Southern) Hemisphere. They are always a joy to film and watch!
