A unique situation in the video this week. Crisp cold weather here and seeing the Lions with my arm in recovery. Even a short time away can change the behaviour and i found this experience with the Lions so uplifting. Please let me know your thoughts in the comments. Well, you certainly recover faster than me. I don't think your lions would attack "you" if you came in on a stretcher! They love you and respect you. Get well.

I NEVER cease to be amazed by these videos. Kevin *really is* a full-blown member of those prides. The lions only care that he’s back, not so much that he has an “ouch”. Apex predators that they are, the level of community and bond is astounding!

He can turn Apex Predators into Giant house cats just by showing up, it's fantastic

I used to think the lions would attack Kevin when he was injured. But after all these years the lions just see you as family. They may sniff the cast or bandages but then they want their scratches and treats. 😊

This was pretty much as I figured. Your four legged children were so affectionate because they haven't seen you in a week and could sense your new situation and wanted to be very supportive. Anyone who said they might sense weakness in you don't know or understand your deep connection to your children. Hope you continue to recover and heal well Kevin.

Been watching for years. It NEVER ceases to amaze me to watch the interactions with Kevin and the lions. It's just astonishing what he does with them, but the rest of us would be torn apart and swallowed in minutes. Kevin, you're a wonder.

Kev smells like the vet. Lol. Anyone doubts their love for you just needs to watch this. I love our megs expression everytime she runs up. She still looks like a kitten in her facial expressions. You are defiantly her person.

It seem like they know what happened to your arm. The animal have instincts knows when we are sad or ill

To keep your cast clean, you should cut the sleeve off of a long sleeve shirt & wear that over the cast when your with the animals. Save you from having to wrap it every time 😊. And then you can wash the sleeve with your regular laundry too.

Such a great channel. Lions are magnificent. They’re the symbol of power & strength. We mustn’t let these glorious cats become extinct. Bravo the Lion Whisperer !

they just missed you so much! two years ago i had a stroke and came back home two weeks later and my cats were ignoring me at first but really fast they all went to see me to the room and stayed with me all day long

It always amazed me the behavior of these lions towards you Kev, even they must know you are vulnerable, because your injured arm, they just smelled the cast and bandages like saying “You poor thing, you have an oui” and go back to their loving selves with you, totally remarkable, they love you, just as much as you love them, you are certainly part of their family.
