    Hi yeh it’s actually very interesting as I actually like elephants more as each individual has a personality but you made a good point as baby elephants don’t spend time with there dad that almost only happen with lions as they live in a group where the male is apart of the group and other animals where the male is apart don’t practice social interaction.

    @@safariexperiences Yes, I find lionesses fascinating and inspiring in the way they protect their babies. But, I do understand the danger that fathers present for baby cubs. Therefore, it is heartwarming to see lions engaging in a positive way with their offspring.

    Sometimes a dad just has to be a dad. Annoyed and yet enjoying it at the same time. I’m guilty of that too.

    Yeah, do NOT make fun of species like some eagles the father guards the nest. Though appears smaller, he twice as powerful and aggressive. ZERO child mortality. Yet they still the best hunters too. Like all cats, safest at night, they sleep through day hunt through night. Even human cats, least traffic at night, coyotes can’t see or smell as well. Just not kittens, small enough for owls to grab at.
