Hi, Is there a way ou check the Month cell between sheets and if the month matches then you put in the value...For example check if Month cell in Jan then put the corresponding value....Here you assume that month cells are in correct order in all sheets..

If I close the source file, the data won't update anymore. Do I have to keep the source file open all the time? This is too troublesome for certain applications.

Sir but except macbook there is no option for paste special in that case what we have to do ?

OK, so I am not sure if I can apply this to what I am trying to accomplish. I have a sheet that uses column "G" with a date in the column. On another sheet I wanted to link the count of how many with the same date. and match with date on other sheet with the count of how many with the same date, for example how many people bought an item on 1/11/23 and have it be dynamic when more data is entered.

Can i able to rename the source workbook name... if i did the linking formula is could working same or not?

Hi.. I have a question here that I am unable to achieve. If I paste link from one excel to other excels, how is it updated automatically without opening those files. Because I have used this from 1st to 2nd to 3rd set of excels and they don't update unless I open those excels.
