I wanted to release a Linkin Park reaction on my birthday, so I pushed this reaction off a bit so it could get released today.

This song was written by Mike Shinoda. During the recording, Chester had trouble holding back his tears because it was hitting him so hard. . He sang 2 lines, had to pause because he got teary eyed and that went on and on like that. The first two also have an extended intro, which were only played in concerts.

This song was actually written by a friend of Mikes. Chester didn’t love singing it at first because the lyrics hit home so hard.

Live 8 was done to raise money to help the people affected by the Christmas tsunami over in Indonesia. There was performances happening all over the world for Live 8. Linkin Park create a charity fund called Music for Relief to help people affected by natural disasters. Linkin Park only performed 2 concerts in 2005. Rob used both regular and electronic drums for certain songs. It has been that way since their first concerts. Brad has 1 guitar that he only uses every so often because it has the art work from Hybrid Theory from when it went platinum. In 2003 and 2004 Brad broke several of his guitars during their concerts. In fact you can see Phoenix play 1 during the Minutes to Midnight or A Thousand Suns album tours.

I guess I've just never seen Rob's drums before like this. I do remember hearing about Music For Relief later on. I do remember I think Brad broke a guitar during A Place For My Head during Live in Texas, as well.

5:37 those are electronic and he had an electronic kick drum too, one of the pads was a hi hat and one was a snare
