My second son was born around the same time as Chester had one of his sons. I met him outside the hospital. It was a really awesome moment for me. He was to nice and kind yet so far away. That will always stay with me. It was like looking into a mirror.

I met Chester in London in the 2000's. Had a full blown fan Boi moment. Mike pushed past me (actually shoulder barged me). But Chester was so humble and apologised. This world has lost a guiding light!

Chester saved me at the end of High School with this song but couldn't save himself.. I miss him everyday. He would approve of this cover, thank you Violet

She is very talented. I wouldn't put her on Amy Lee's level, but she is very talented. Talented enough for a record deal. Her sound definitely sounds inspired by Amy Lee. My favorite was her doing a cover of The Witcher theme. I'd recommend checking out that one.

I miss Chester... Myself, a grown ass man, cried like a baby in the parking lot of a Japanese steakhouse the day I found out he was gone. (Edit) He was a part of my life from the third grade. Chester was able to put words to the emotional conflict I was experiencing as a teen. He was able to give me someone to relate to when I felt the pain of feeling alone when I had no friends. He helped me express the things that I couldn't figure out how to express on my own. Chester felt like a friend to me, even though I never met him and he had no idea I even exist. He was there when I went through my first real, devastating breakup. He was there when a friend of mine ended his own life and I needed to process the loss of a 16 year old male classmate. He was there when I felt lost trying to figure out who I was, and he was there when I finally met who I was as an adult. I hope you found peace, Chester. I feel I can speak for all of us when I say we love you, and we miss you, brother.

Violet is better.

For so many years. I have wanted to hear a properly done hard and heavy metal version of this song. Never once did it cross my mind! That there would be such beauty in the portrayal of the story. It was a song of the realization of pain. But you applied an elegance to it, that I never would have expected! Thank you.

This song was my introduction to the group when I was in school. My depression started to get bad by that point. These guys helped me through it. And then when I had a huge break up, these guys were there for me again, keeping me going when my depression just wanted me to give up. This rendition has brought me to tears, both because of what it means to me and the fact I still mourn Chester. This is a gorgeous song.

I still can't listen to Linkin Park without having a minor emotional breakdown. That being said, your rendition is very, very beautiful. I just miss him so damn much.

Chester was religious but according to Mike he wasn't necessarily close to the Christian or Jewish traditions of the other members. I don't think it's suited to project your biblical beliefs of hell and sin on someone with a rather different spirituality.

Chester Bennington left us in 2017-07-20. As one comment I read years back: One would save many but many couldn't save one.... But I chose to remember Chester with happiness and strength! Hybrid Theory was my first CD that actually bought over the counter at my local music store. I still have that CD, and it was realesed in october / 2000. Nearly 24 years later... It still sounds as good back then 😔😊🤘🏻

I have to share my little story here. I've always been a big Linkin Park fan, since the "In The End". A few weeks before Chester died they held a concert here in Hungary and I didn't go. I deeply regret it still from the bottom if my heart. Also since then i couldn't bear to listen to their songs. You are the first one ever since...thank you. It was a beautiful cover I just love everything you do.
