RIP Chester. VERY Unique voice that could belt it out. Shame, gone too soon. My favorite is In The End. His vocals let it all out along with other singer as well. They both did. Kickass song. Loved their music. Enjoy discovering this great band.

I’ll never forget the day my co-worker loaned me her Linkin Park’s debut CD. Because I had a long commute, I had the privilege of listening to the entire thing in one sitting. Combine Chester’s voice, Mike’s rap, a tight band and meaningful lyrics, and you have yourself the Perfect Storm of Rock that becomes an instant icon. Do yourself a favor, listen to more Linkin Park!

I love Linkin Park, regardless of the haters in the world. Also, I feel so much for the girl in that song. She was such an amazing artist from what I could see. The whole of their first album is a fave of mine. I enjoyed songs like Papercut, One Step Closer, Crawling, Runaway, and In the End.

I am a longtime Linkin Park fan. When I heard that Chester passed away I was absolutely devastated.

This is my favourite Linkin Park song. I’ve always thought that Chester Beddington has one of the best rock voices. It was a loss when he left us.

He had such a beautiful voice, but could really get the emotion through his amazing scream as well.

Linkin Park has a pretty wide range regarding the type of songs that they have. I love One Step Closer and Breaking The Habit. I also want to recommend one that is not that popular, but the lyrics always hit me like hardly anything else: Hands Held High Hope you have fun listening!

His last album was basically a cry for help for depression, all the songs are so related to his depression

RIP Chester, such an amazing voice, and such a powerful message. There are so many amazing artists we lost, over suicide, it's just crazy. People think fame and money make them happy but there are so many people overwhelmed with the power of fame. IT's just sad

Love them so much. Their album Hybrid Theory got me through a rough spot in my life. Lyrics were spot on to what was going on at the time. RIP Chester. Sadly, sadly missed! 😔

Linkin Park songs are such that they immediately connect with many ppl across the world, the band is the music. Their music & songs is a voice for many, in the face of mental and physical pain and suffering. Thanks Linkin Park. Chester is gone but he's left behind a voice for many .

I always wondered why their songs were filled with so much pain. They are great songs, filled with emotion. Chester was very talented. Very, very sad that he left us, but I understand oh too well.

I loved LP so much ! Plus the video is shot in Prague, to me one of the most beautiful city in Europe, everyone should visit it at least once. RIP Chester you are still missed but never forgotten !

So sad that lives were lost, so sad why Chester and Chris have since been taken. The seedy sick world they endured..... Awesome talents gone too soon...RIP.

One of my favorite groups! Chester’s voice & range were extraordinary. My favorite song is One More Light which was released shortly before he died. The message makes breaks my heart every time I hear it.

This song always gets to me. The girl has dealt with rejection so much that she ends up locking up her emotions. In other words she has become "numb". It even shows scars made by cutting herself. Cutters typically shut off their emotions so they replace emotional pain with physical pain.

Linkin Park helped me so much in high School with my background of depression and abuse

This song isn't as old (2003) as a lot of the songs you have on your show so you've probably heard it before. Also, it was prominent in the movie Miami Vice (2006) if you saw that. A version of it was playing in the opening scene at the discotheque.

Jamal, if you have ever watched the 2006 movie Miami Vice starring Colin Farrell & Jamie Foxx you will have definitely have heard this song as it's used at the very start of the film.
