Another old guy reflects:I listen to Linkin Park like Chris Pratt listens to Wham! In Gaurdians of the Galaxy. I give no fux what anyone says. First 2 albums on the daily. If I dont hear them, my day is incomplete. I was 14 in Freshman year when Hybrid Theory broke. 32 w/kids now. Time has gone, and Chester is now rock legend/martyr.. LP is on par with the beatles, u2, aerosmith, the who.. my 4 y.o. daughter chants "Linkin Park!" so well when I play them, its a shame she'll never see Chester perform, but shes got 17 years of performances to watch. LP will always hold my strength and sanity.... I support them and always will, no disrespect to their new music, anything they make is gold. I personally do prefer old hard LP for the reason alone it is Hybrid Theory, a mix of everything I love, no rap, rock, electronic sections, just Hybrid Theory, or LP. Cheers to all you other Die Hards, younger older, it doesnt matter, we love what we love. you can take modern tech away from us, and I will be singing LP with sticks and stones in the new world.

12 year old me was so attracted with Mike's red hair, I also liked the blue one. I would do anything to go back in time and watch this live. T.T

Used to go to SO MANY shows back then! Slipknot, KoRn, System of a Down, Limp Bizkit, StainD, Cypress Hill, the list goes on... Saw LP a year later 2001 and they took off from there!

September 5, 2000, just under two months until Hybrid Theory was released and the world was introduced to Linkin Park. I was just 2½ at the time. Incredible. RIP Chester, we fucking miss you and I can't believe I never got to see Linkin Park live while you were still around.

I'm glad Linkin Park matured cause so did I. If they didn't mature I probably would've forgotten about them and associated them with all the other music I listen to. But I will always keep Linkin Park in my heart because all their music continues to blow me away.
