U mentioned it, music keeps us together. Look at what it was doing. Blending genres, unreal collabs, real unity. Why do you think MTV stopped playing music? It was working to well. This time period actual racism certainly wasn't perfect, but it was as low as it ever been. It was understood, and not excepted by a generation. Now you got a bunch of whiney kids screaming at the generation before them about racism. Calling everybody names over politics. When you 18 to 25 your a moron, you know very little outside your bubble because your self absorbed. Particularly this younger generation who lives behind a keyboard, saying shit online they would never say in public unless in a large group w a hive mind. 20 yrs ago, if you were racist you stayed in your lane and didn't intermingled, go to certain events. What does MTV play now 16 yr old moms and Hip Hop wives. Worst of both races. To create devision. If you can't see the agenda your willfully blind at this point!

But if we keep the memory strong, we will have others who pick up that torch and bring us some great stuff in the future.

Omg I’m so here for this!!! I remember listening to this on repeat when it came out. It was so dope. MTV asked Jay who he wanted to mix with and he chose them. They were supposed to do one song they did an album. MTV chose to never do a mash up again because no one compared. When Chester took his life jay did a beautiful shout out at a concert. He was so sad. It was beautiful. Also, apparently they did the whole concert. It didn’t get recorded. They were all like eh f it. Let’s do it again. 😂😂😂

LP fan for 20+ years here! You are right, Mike raps, plays piano, guitar, bass, percussion, produces songs, sings backtracks, sound mixes, and is an incredible visual artist (Check out his work!). Bonus: He's the nicest, most humble musician I've ever met. The day Chester died was one of the worst days of my life. His voice was one of a kind, one of the best, and he loved his fans so much. He remembered me every time we met at M&G's before shows. It was the kind of guy he was. Another thing: Since I was 12 (I'm 30 now) they've always taught me to be open, to listen to new genres and challenged the idea of what music can do, of what it means to people despite of race and ethnicity. Music is for everyone!

BadJovi praying I’m the bully 😳😳😝😝 anyways is the video ur asking the same as faint live rock 2007 am??? If so YES!!!! Chester goes OFF!!! I have thrown that out to him because how wild the crowd is and how Chester goes off at the end.. that specific VIDEO is SICK!!! When you write to van u have to say if it’s either a car test or video....this specific request is VIDEO ONLY VAN!!!!! I’m so glad he did this one cause I have been on his ASS for like 2wks..but yes I have to give him a min because I hounded him 😝😝 but yeah if this is the same one absolutely YES!!!!! Rip chesterb!!!!

BadJovi praying ok so I went and looked and they are different..the faint live rock 2007am is a lil bit better but the amount of fans is the same..Chester goes off on the video ur requesting BUT in the faint live rock 2007 am he GOES OFF the CHARTS at the end..you should go watch that version and it shows how HIGH PITCH Chester could really go..but I liked ur request one as well!! But they are different rip Chester!!
