It's the most brutally intense vocals that Chester has ever done in any L.P. song on a studio album because that 18 second scream is just mind-blowingly difficult to pull off. Those intense vocals easily rival or trump some of the stuff he has even done off Hybrid Theory and Meteora. Qwerty is one of the few songs I can think of off the top of my head that comes close to the kind of vocal intensity that Given Up has.
