“I love you and I’m gonna love you forever.” That was so beautiful 🥹 I know a lot of people were against them but I don’t know how. Who’s more perfect for them than each other? They have such a sweet chemistry and them and their kids are already like one big family. After their failed prior relationships, they deserve to have this. It feels like true love to me.

Literally and still to this day, I think the writers were on some BS making Alex go back to izzie just to write him off the show. Thank god Jo and link knew each other before she met Alex. Jo and Alex were the best for each other at one point, but I’m glad the show gave her a backup interest to make up for it the least.

It’s been a while since Grey’s made an ILY monologue, this was really great! I will admit I‘ve been rooting for this couple more because I really wanted some well deserved peace for Jo than for any other reason but truth is it makes sense and they’re both good people.

I swear, I was so sick of the angst filled romances of this show. I want a wholesome relationship that started off with two people who liked each other. But they really did let this ship marinate in the angst.

People in this show are really good in confessing their love , but when they're about to break up or divorce ; it becomes nonsense 😂

This moment between Link and Jo was filmed and performed brilliantly.

We all knew Jo was never going to end up with that random. It was all just a matter of time for Link to confess, and for Jo to see that Link felt the same way about her. All in all I loved the confession, it was sweet. The smile after they broke apart on the following scene, was everything. Felt like I was watching some cheesy romantic movie and I loved it! This entire finale reminded me of old school Grey's.

As much as I liked them as just friends, once Alex left this is the perfect redemption story to give Jo happiness with someone else. And who more perfect than her best friend of 12 years!

“I love you and I’m gonna love you forever” i loved that scene so much and it also reminded me so much of Stefan and Caroline from The vampire diaries during the final episode. But alltogether, i'm rooting for Jolink

What do peple want from them. Is Jo just suposed to wait around for Alex forever, end up alone, or not date anyone ever. Sam was never going to stick around long term. He's a goner. And is Link just suposed to get back together with Amelia, despite both having moved on. Yes, they loved Alex and Amelia, and them being together doesn't erase what they felt. But people can be in love with more than one person in their life. This is what they both desvere, especially Jo. After what Paul put her through, and then Alex abandoning her, she desveres a happy and peaceful relationship with Link.

I agree and I'm sick of people saying that Alex and Jo belong together. No, no they don't. Alex is with Izzie, raising their twins, end of story. He's thriving in Kansas and is doing amazing things. Alex will NEVER come back for Jo, it's why he divorced her. Link won't go back to Amelia either because she knew she was in love with Kai. So, that won't work either so, Link and Jo need to be together. It's just how it works. If people don't like it, don't watch the show and stop complaining and whining.

Honestly I’ve been waiting for them to end up together for forever now, since Link was first introduced actually. When he realized that Jo was working at the same hospital I could tell that they loved each other. I don’t really see how Alex and Jo ended up getting married, they both deserve someone who truly loves them for who they are and who doesn’t have a bunch of baggage.

I have not fallen in love with a couple like Jo and Link since Lexi and Mark, but these two are amazing! Love Love Love them !

It's probably that he always loved her but never got the chance to tell her so they never got together and ended up dating other people. Does seem a bit strange since they always made it seem like they were like brother/sister but also rooting for them at the same time.

You're right because the writing in Grey's has gone so downhill😭 I wish Grey's ended years ago after season 10. Grey's is just running out of couples ever since most of the cast left and we can't have one pair of best friends.

Let's not forget, that while all of this 'I love you' and 'I love you too' stuff is going on in the rain outside like a cliché romance movie, their patient, and the guy that Jo has been flirting with for the past few episodes, is in an OR, bleeding out through his chest, with a passed out, possibly dying surgeon, and three interns who don't know what the hell they're doing but who still have to somehow save them both.

omg i thought it was her fiance Trey so I didn't care, but dang it! I didn't realize, if he dies I have such a bad feeling that Jo and Link are gonna fight about kissing while he died in the OR and they are gonna be on and off again because of it. I swear to god if the writers don't leave the old characters alone. They need to just let them be funny side chracters like they were this season because it was really fun seeing them in comedic scenes rather than alwyas drama.

We already have beautiful pure friendships stay as pure friendships, O'Malley and Izzy, Alex and Meredith. It was just about time that we see a beautiful friendships turn into a beautiful love in Grey's Anatomy.
