I love listening to your stories!! My sewing stories are similiar! I started out making Barbie clothes and my school Girl Scouts sold them at our Christmas bazaar! I think 25 cents a piece. I cross stitched when my girls were young in the early 1980s. I quilted back then too and divorced in the late 80s and then I went to work full time in 1990. All my crafts except knitting were put on hold until I retired in 2020. Now I try to sew on a quilt and cross stitch every day!! I have enough of each that I could never sleep again and if I lived to be 100 I would never be done!! I’m currently almost 71!! Let’s keep sewing ladies😍

You ladies are a hoot. I love watching you and I always pick up little tips and tricks. When you mentioned sayings can draw us to a certain chart, I totally agree. I lost my daughter in 2020, she was only 36. Her birthday is on the 26th of May. I am going to start Quaint Rose Needlearts’ sampler, Jane Evans 1850, for my daughter’s birthday. The saying is: I love my Shepard’s voice, His watchful eye shall keep, My Wand’ring soul among, The thousands of his sheep. I will probably put Barbara’s name and birthdate on it. Hi Beautiful Ladies , I wanted to let you know Lori Holt has some new cross stitch needles . they are my new favorite needles . they are easier to thread and a little shorter than the DMC needles i use . Fat Quarter shop has them. Give them a try. I love them !!

I love your flosstubes because Kathy, I too am from Wauwstosa, Wisconsin (Milwaukee county) and we moved to Georgia 6 years ago for my husband's job. There are no Cross stitch shops in GA, and just happened to find flosstube a year ago. Love Molly and Kathy's love of all crafts/hobbies. Well done and enjoy your fun stories.
