if you're changing guitars with the wireless, equip all guitars with the same strap locks system (or none at all) and just use that strap on all guitars.
Nice review - well put together.
Good review, I have the entry model G30 which I use for bass in a Pro touring band, excellent piece of gear. My bass tone is better now than when I had my lead. Before I had this I bought the Ashdown Free bass wireless unit, used it once and sold it on, lost all low frequencies.
Sold! I am buying one of these babies! .. Nice finishing touch to a Guitar Rig 4 / Mac Mini / Touch Screen LCD setup .. Thanks for the review.
Great review
Good straightforward review. Now please do one for the newer Line 6 G55 wireless guitar system. There isn't a video or user review of the G55 to be found since it was introduced in September 2012.
That's exactly right. Install a reliable and quick on/off strap lock system (such as the Schaller brand from Germany), just use that one strap with Line 6's transmitter unit clipped on, and man you are good to go. I have the Line 6 Relay G90 system and it is AWESOME. Believe the reviewer's video: He is right on target in everything he says and demonstrates.

thart's my experience too, excellent equipment! better is to get more transmitters; if you change the strap, you still have to unplug and plug in to the other guitar. I use 3 basses on stage, all three with their own transmitter.
gorgeous! definitely it´s a great gear! it´s not that cheap, but I´ll try my bass later on! it might sound great, too! thank you, guys!
@mantheblink I have heard of the same issue with the model G50, but not this. Use a high quality electrical (less residue) tape to secure the lead to your transmitter.
Reverb sells the levy's leather guitar transmitter holder.
Can you have multiple channels going on at once? Like say you had a bass, two guitars and two wireless mics, would they run at the same time? or would I have to get a whole new receiver box?
I think Line 6 should give us the option of buying an additional receiver (or is it transmitter?) unit at a cheaper price in case we need to change guitar during a gig.
@espf100monsterman You will be fine just using an Australian IEC Power lead
i live in australia and i am thinking of getting one of these. i can buy an american one with an american cord (obviously) for ALOT cheaper than shops here in aus. you say the the power is 90 - 240v. does this mean i can plug it it straight into a power socket on the wall (obviously through an adapter) and i don't have to worry about the different power or will i still need a step down transformer?
What cinde of batterys do you use? rechargeable or non rechargeable
how do you connect this to guitar rig 4 or 5
What amp are you using?
@espf100monsterman With no step down transformer, i forgot to mention that.
Cant even get mine to work after 3 months, no signal no idea how to set it up, my g30 was easy.
