2005-2007 we had Ryan Miller, Daniel Briere, Chris Drury, Maxim Afinoginov, Brian Campbell, Thomas Vanek, Drew Stafford, Jason Pominville, Tim Connolly, Henrik Tallinder, Ales Kotalik, Patrick Kaleta, Paul Gaustad, & Jochen Hecht. What a team that was. The city was rockin similar to Bills Mafia, same energy. Every game was must-see TV. Great team that couldn’t get it done. (Story of Buffalo sports) 😢

I like what ruff said about 4 lines deep that’s something buffalos lacked for years the 3rd and 4th lines are always filled with AHL level talent, hopefully adams can buck up and ownership not be cheap for once and they get lindy some players cause he’s a good coach

I think the last 3 years they’ve been biding their time just seeing who develops and this summer I think they break out the piggy bank this summer and really go all out whether it’s through trades or signings

Adam's has consistently drafted the best prospects since taking charge. However I think he does lack the ability to make good trades or fa signings.

Exactly! The Sabres only won 3 games in a row 2 or 3 times all season and never won 4 in a row the entire season. They were average to below average all season, lost a lot in regulation (no loser points) and always lost whenever it was a must-win game.

Hes 100% referencing seasons before last. The Sabres almost broke the franchise records for wins in a row, then proceeded to lose the next like 8 a few years ago iirc. Also just last season (not this past season) the Sabres we’re doing fine and then didn’t win a game for almost an entire month.

They never seemed to get a winning streak going until they the season was already done for.

As a devil's fan I was so pissed when they fired him. After he left the devil's just got worse. I'm glad to see he landed back on his feet

Really thought they'd inject some fresh blood. Feel like the Sabres fate will be just like the Devils with Lindy Ruff at the healm. Good Luck Buffalo!

This happened way too fast. This may be more about the coaches legacy rather than the best move for the team. I hope for Adams this works out because if it doesnt the fans will put him on the chopping block.

He interviewed Berube and Gallant, which are really the only coaches I’d prefer over Lindy. It was definitely a decision the GM made without consideration of other coaches, but it DOES fit the bill for what we wanted.

I think it’s unwise to rehire someone they fired lol

The guy on the right is completely talking out his ass. Lose 10 in a row then win 10 in a row. Neither happened for the Sabres this year😂. I don’t think they lost more than 3 or won more than 3 in a row. You’re on the NHL network. Maybe you could do a tad bit of research before doing the interview 😂
