Lindsey is no where NEAR diva. She's the most humble, down to earth celebrity I've seen. She was confident, which she should be, she knows she's a good dancer, but she doesn't get all big headed about it.
@leflyingpineapple1005

I totally agree.... it's almost like they couldn't find fault anywhere else so they threw that in there. Seriously though. Anyone who regularly watches her youtube videos and interviews - you don't even have to personally know her to see she is a truly sweet, humble, down-to-earth gal. She is very confident; has a high energy level and puts her all into everything she does - that's what makes her an amazing performer. I guess to a complete stranger that could be labeled as "diva". Maybe. If you were really scrutinizing hard for something to dislike.

What is a diva?
@eamonhyatt

Ambria W. as opposed to Ariana Grande, Victoria Justice....basically every star (except for Jennette) from Icarly, Victorious, and Sam & Cat have let themselves succumb to the lights, camera, action of Hollywood.
what the heck? Lindsey is NOT a "white girl diva". I can't believe DanceOn would even ALLOW that to be said about one of the contestants. that was extremely rude.
@sillybella7

Agreed. Laurieann is unprofessional across the board. She always finds a way to dislike contestants based on perceived personality flaws rather than specific issues with their performances. For all the professional, constructive criticism she gives, they might a well get Amanda Bynes to judge instead.
i was first attracted to Lindsey for being humble, then her talent i see no diva whatsoever in her demeanor.

I think they are saying that because, so far Lindsey really hasn't had any downfalls. Watching her, she spends time on it and you can tell it's not as hard for her to get it. She dances when she plays and doesn't think about it,so it's not like she's as inexperienced as the other youtubers. She's a hard worker and has fun doing what she does.
Did ***** & ***** amaze you this week with their sweet sweet moves? Let us know in the comments below!

Erva Fidan in this dance she had a tiny bit of look of a diva, but if you really get to know her i agree with you 110%, she truly brings out the best of people and she is the kindest person ill ever see in my life, been a fan for 2 years now and i still love her songs and her personality (:

Lindsey and Anze were amazing! I vote for them, hands down.
She killed it
Btw judges, you're supposed to be judging her moves and skills NOT her personality... Stick to what you know on the dance floor!
@sillybella7

Personality is a big part of a successful performance. That being said, the way it was done here was inappropriate. Confidence does not always equal "diva". It was also extremely tacky to bring race into the equation.
How can she be a diva? She's one of the most kind of humble people I know :O
No!! she is not a diva.. she has her feet really on the ground!! she is amazing!! Go Lindsey & Anze!!

Well they better be prepared for more!
diva? dont let it go to her head?? they obviously dont know a thing about lindsey. she's the complete opposite of that, which is what makes her so special. if anyone deserves the 50k prize its her.
really, this was amazing! Lindsey Stirling just has sooo many talents! and she is really lucky with Anze!! YOU NEED TO WIN!!!
These judges obviously dont know Lindsey she would never let any thing go to her head great job lindsey and keep up the awesome work
The last thing Lindsey is, is a freaking diva. I'm actually offended that she even said that. It's called BEING IN CHARACTER.
I thought they were great! Lindsey is getting better and better! And no I dont think we have to worry about her getting a big head...she's just getting more comfortable doing this which is giving her more confidence. That, I think us necessary...I mean if u go onstage unsure about yourself, its going to show in your performance.
i love lindsey with her hair that long
I really resent the implications that Lindsey is full of herself. I interviewed her when she was, you know, on her SOLD OUT WORLD TOUR (not on an internet show), with adoring fans waiting outside to get a piece of her. She was completely laid back and cool. Total "let's hang out" atmosphere about her. Funny and very down to earth; most of all, very appreciative of her success. She takes PRIDE in being self-made; as she should do.
She's not smelling white girl diva. She just caught a whiff of her own scent.
Really love how you worked the violin and the 'upside-down' flip, Lindsey! And I'm pretty sure that Laurieann smelled wrong - no hint of white-girl-diva here :) Go Team Lindsey and Anze, KSLL!

I can't stop watching this!!! It is so amazing!!! And how do u get that Lindsey is a diva??? She is so amazing and not one bit a Diva!!!
Big head or not (I think not) she is by far the best dancer here.With those moves, and that skill she should clearly win it. I have other people I like too, but they really are the best.
Lindsey was showing absolutely no "White girl diva" at all. She was just accepting the judges remarks and was happy..
@DanceOn

Agree.
That was a genuinely awesome routine.
Why would she say that? Lindsey was being confident in the dance and in herself. I don't think it's fair to put down someone just when they are gaining confidence about it, especially when that person did an exceptional job!
They. Are. AWESOME!!! I really enjoyed watching them dance together, they are incredibly good!
they have been so darn amazing everytime

Thanks for the support!
Those judges obviously never watched her videos. She has her own style but she dances in almost every video. And some I the moves she pulls off in her videos, how dare they imply she's amateur. She can dance circles around that "pro" they teamed her up with.
@susupernova
10 жыл бұрын
Uhm, she dances in her videos, but she only moves her feet while playing the violin. I don't think she would have come up with the dance moves she did on her first performance and this performance all by herself, because she knows only how to cripwalk, glide, moonwalk and she can do the backbend. The rest was just other footwork which Michael Jackson used to do and moving around with the feet. That's all she could manage before she joined danceon. Besides, the "dance moves" she did without the violin on "Shadows" weren't really dance moves, it was moving her feet while "flailing" her arms around. I personally think it's good for her being in this show, because she gets to move more and learn new dance moves. Don't take this wrong, I love Lindsey and know she's talented, but what I said above is the truth.

***** It was a joke, accusing someone of being racist while calling her black... Thanks for explanation anyway :D
OMG!!! I watch it over and over again and I can't stop!!!!!! That was so amazing!!!
LINDSEY YOU LOOKS AMAZING!!! And Anze too hahaha really amazing!!
Loved everything until this female judge called Lindsey a White Girl Diva. WTF? What a racist comment on a young woman who is obviously NOT a Diva. That kinda ruined the end of this vid.
@JohnDoe-qx3zs

Well as the former choreographer for Lady GaGa, she kind of knows what a white diva is like even when the diva acts nice. Also at the time of this competition, Lindsey Stirling had just taken over Lady GaGa's manager. I happen to like both GaGa and Stirling, and I see the similarities and differences.
@ItsNadine71335
10 жыл бұрын
I also like GaGa and Stirling but knowing GaGa is no excuse for that behaviour. She shouldn't automatically judge her just because she's white. And from my point of view, Lindsey was not acting like a diva at all.
@lionfan96
10 жыл бұрын
Sam Lockhart so if the judge was white and Lindsey happened to be black the judge's statements would be perfectly ok right? might want to keep that in mind. if people (of ANY color) want to be looked at as PEOPLE and not their ethnicity.. they might want to take a look in the mirror and evaluate how they judge others. i also didnt like how she pretty much gave ZERO credit to lindsey. i actually think her partner is a cool dude.. but Lindsey can dance and the talent she displayed was all her. just because she's an independent "youtuber" doesnt mean she doesnt have talent of her own.
@lionfan96
10 жыл бұрын
if the ethnicity were reversed, the comment would have been something like "black girl diva". that wouldnt be considered offensive by people? in this day in age, of course it would be. and that was my point.
@lionfan96
10 жыл бұрын
+Sam Lockhart really? last i checked black people are human beings.. same as white people are. you are telling me black people cant take things for granted? of course they can. and are you saying that just because you are black you are automatically going to be underprivileged? sounds like it to me. and if you are, sorry i consider that a bit ignorant. black people can have high incomes and contrary to what the left might think black people can be successful too. so, im sorry i dont buy that. and contrary to what the left might also think, white people can be underprivileged too. not every white person lives in a rich suburban neighborhood. also, ever heard of terrell owens? doesnt matter if he is white, black, orange, or blue that guy was a diva. and there are MANY people of all colors just like him in our society. and finally, my whole point is.. if you dont want to be judged on YOUR ethnicity.. dont do the same to others.
Amazing job! Loved the lifts! You can tell she puts her heart (and a ton of hard work) into everything she does! She's a warrior not a diva.
Dang! They blasted that dance with moves! He did make Lindsey look professional! Yes, she knew how to dance in her vids previous to this, but once she comes away with the knowledge she has now, her YT vids will be even better! Way to live your dream Lindsey! Keep living it!
I don't particularly like dancing (or watching it) but i could watch this all day
THAT TLOZ SHIRT.... I love you Lindsey. A lot. You're the best!
I remember watching this for the first time. Aaah childhood memories I miss it so much, and I wanna go back again 🔙🥺 💖💖😭
Holy crap! For him to just hand her the violin and her play that little rift right there at the end, that was impressive!
Anze had it easy for him because he had Lindsey. Lindsey gives her all and knows how to dance with a violin. Why do you think it is easy for Anze to make Lindsey look like a professional when she can play a violin while dancing. She had good coordination and can multitask. As well she has that energetic stamina of hers with awesome facial expression to lift the mood up giving this amazing atmosphere. But I have to give Anze credit too because of thinking up really wonderful moves for Lindsey and all. He dance it really well, giving his all like any professional dancers would. He is amazing like Lindsey. Heck they are both amazing and awesome. I hope they win!

3 cheers for "I can feel your energy" violin dubstep!
From the beginning I was repeating it
those judges >.>
i must admit this is the best performance out of all of them
So I've watched all performances so far including performance #1, I think the best dance performances is lindsey and anze's.... Hands down
:) is there even a competition? I can tell she is having so much fun!
they were killing it! (great) :)
White girl diva?? The girl whose parents couldn't afford to give her violin lessons so they only paid for 15 min a week?? Maybe I don't know the correct definition of diva. Diva: Someone who works really hard in spite of any and all obstacles, overcomes rejection to still believe in herself and becomes successful. Then yes, she's a diva.
Who the hell are these two judges to say Lindsey is a diva and full of herself? STFU no she isn't at all. She's one of the most humbling people out there. THEY are full of themselves for expressing how "right" they are.

This is my favourite one :D So cool!
That was awesome!!
Oh my gosh Lindsey ♥
This was AMAZING
AWESOME PERFORMANCE!!! keep it up girl!!
For this dance i'll sit here and abuse the vote button for the next hour or few
Lindsey wasn't showing "white girl diva", if anybody was being judged and the comments they got were things like "one of the best dances", "trained the best sheep a sheep can be"(i don't know the exact way she worded it), "first place runner up", etcetera, they'd be happy and proud. It would be difficult not to have a little pride. How do you expect a person to act when they're getting great reviews? But go team Lindsey!!!!! You are the best and we love you ^-^ Keep on voting everyone!! :3
