I don't think anyone ever questioned her intelligence. I never thought of her as being stupid. She was in an environment that fueled a bad lifestyle and her mother was a codependent in it all. She's missed out on many big roles because of her antics, but maybe that was for the best. Who knows? If she didn't end up in a place where the laws and rules are so stringent, she might be dead right now. She seems to excel in this setting.

I think her moving away from California was the best decision she ever made

Yeah, and while I usually think actors trying to sing is them just giving up and it's painful to listen to (see: Jamie Foxx + National Anthem)... BUT, I love Lindsay's voice in the Prairie Home Companion movie. I still sing the Frankie & Johnny song in the car!

Connie Stamatelos Drew Barrymore was also the Lindsey Lohan of my time. People forget that Drew was an alcoholic by age 9 and addicted to cocaine by age 11. She had some really bad years of drugs and alcohol, and she was downgraded to b movies and actually got to a point where no one would hire her. She was actually working as a waitress just to be able to eat and live! But she got clean and sober, and stayed clean and sober which enabled her to completely turn her life and career around. She Became very successful, has made some great movies as actor and producer and has been sober for a long time now. She also has a great husband and family too now. If she could turn her life around, so can Lindsay!! She just has to stay sober and stay away from the toxic environment that fostered her addictions. I believe she can do it.

I think we're all kind of grounded these days, right?

I always thought Lindsay was treated way to severe in LA. While everyone was getting slapped on the hands and early release because of overcrowding she had to spend to much time in court. And the freak show that is TMZ just made things worse. Got to admit at first I thought David was going Bunker Bonkers having Lindsay on but that was pretty cool and funny/normal!

Lindsay is such a classic beauty reminds me so much of Drew Barrymore, and I love them both. I’m always rooting for her. Her past... everybody got a past, who doesn’t? I hope i get to see her in a movie soon, and I hope this time she keeps true to herself and her talent.

Do what you do best and forget the noises around you, nobody on Earth has a 100% approval rating so just be yourself and focus on what is important and the rest will fall in place. Your life is better now because now you know who your friends are. I wish you the best, keep on climbing and eventually, you will be on top again.

Lindsey Lohan comes across very well. She appears to have made some bad choices once-upon-a-time. Haven't we all ? And she is universally acknowledged as a first class actress. I think if she left this "club owner"/ musician persona behind her, knuckled down, and got serious again about her acting with no drama in her life/ on set/ with interviewers, both her audience and the critics - both of whom have been waiting for her to return - would be delighted. I’ve always loved lindsay lohan. I think her mom threw her into acting and singing at a young age and the industry was hard for her. The mom tried making her younger sister into a singer too. I think the mom is addicted to the fame
