This is a video, shot by Mike Anton with drone footage by Gibson Blanc Photography, which showcases the amazing community procession at Lindfield Village Day in June 2024.
This parade - which contains walking floats as well as decorated vehicles - moves down slowly from Hickmans Lane Playing Fields, down the High Street, past Lindfield Pond and onto Lindfield Common - where it moves into the arena for a special 'Olympic style ceremony' - where medals were given out for the best floats in the procession.
The procession theme this year was Olympics and Paralympics, in honour of this year's sporting ceremonies in Paris.
