Lindeman Lake hike and camping spot in Chilliwack British Columbia. My brother and I went on a 2 day backpacking adventure to Lindeman Lake. We hiked to Lindeman Lake, set up camp right infront of the beautiful clear water, and had a relaxing peacful night. This is the first video to my Backpacking British Columbia series! That spot is so pretty! The drone footage was. amazing and seeing this place from above was beautiful! I really love how there were camping platforms. That is so neat! I am loving you B.C. backpacking adventures! Can't wait to see where you are heading next!

Thank you so much!! and yeah the tent pads are such a cool addition. it was my first time staying on one of those platforms and surprisingly it was more comfortable than i thought!

you don’t need to make a reservation. the spots are first come first serve, but you do need to buy a $5 backcountry camping permit online. this was on a weekday during summer

How did your trip go? Im planning on going this weekend but I heard that alot of cars get broken into...
can you go there for just one day? or do you recommend doing a backpacking trip ?

you can definitely visit for just a day. most people do! its only 3.4km round trip so its perfect for day hiking! it gets pretty busy during peak hours though so try going on weekdays
I heard that a lot of people get their vehicles broken into, was that an issue for you guys? did you see any vehicles with broken windows ??

no it wasn’t an issue for us! and i didn’t see any vehicles with broke windows either. just don’t leave any valuables in your car and you should be fine

Congrats on your first trip. If you’re in bear country, you also shouldn’t really be cooking right on your tent pad. The smells linger.
Fires and drones are banned at this lake and park. Careful what you post online. Great lake though!
