Having worked on a couple of linde trucks, I hate them. The vision in them is terrible, and for some reason the Germans put the huge thick strut at the bottom of the backplate right in the line of sight between the driver and the forks. If you can't see your fork tips, it makes driving the trucks dangerous and frustrating. They also have some insanely irritating features, like the speed being electronically limited at 5mph which was beyond infuriating and made working in a builders merchant yard an arduous experience. Give me an LPG Yale truck anyday.

As a forklift driver I have to agree. I love German made products, cars etc but Linde’s I cannot stand driving. BT’s were the best high reach forks I have ever driven close 2nd Crown. Now I drive a Raymond. Crown for gas counterbalance or Junheinrich for electric counterbalance. Just my opinion.
