Just purchased this gate and am currently trying to put it together....as the person above mentioned the 4 central clips for the gate, K1 K2 & L1 L2 are ridiculously tight and don’t slide in as easily shown on the video! Having to file some of the plastic off to try and push the clips all the way up. Been working on the gate for 45 minutes now when i thought the whole job would & should have taken around 15 minutes! Design needs addressing!!

The_Spaniard80 spin on side of the gate around. The rails are off centre, which allows them to easily slot into the clips when aligned correctly.

The hardest part that annoyed me was fiting L1 with L2 &k1 with K2. that was why i stopt working before i damage the stuff. Leave for handy man...xx

Extremely hard to connect the two gates together . You need some real leverage to get the brackets across the bars and to fit flush. The template is ok if you have no carpet . Our stair carpet is ribbed so can’t rely on the base. No measurements given , just the template so awkward if you are not fixing it wall to wall . I had a skirting board on one side so the template no use. I placed the brackets by eye eventually and hung the gate but found that it was too low on the hinge side so hard to lift above on the catch side. NOT a job for the basic DIY fitter
