I feel so, so bad for what happened to her. Such a beautiful woman & she seems to have such a beautiful spirit. I've just learned of what happened to her when she got cold sculpting & saw some of the pics. I wonder if she has also lost her hair since almost all the recent photos of her, her head is covered. I really hate that Doctors aren't better abt educating patients on risks. All patients should be required to sign something that lists all known side effects of the procedures & surgeries they get regardless of whether they're necessary or cosmetic. I'd considered cold sculpting but just the possibility of enduring what's happened to her has made me realize, it's not worth it ; I'll be hitting the gym more

After the trauma she deals with from that bad medical reaction she had, I'm happy to see her be reminded that she's still that girl, still honored, and can still be the her she was before that time in her life 💕

I did the same I had a walk-in closet that was wall-to-wall mainly Vogue but Allure, Bazaar, as well -Elle, too.

She asked her teachers to give her the award rather than a celebrity. That is so respectful and grateful gesture.

Linda embodies the Jessica Rabbit quote, “I’m not bad, I’m just drawn that way.” Her features are so strong and almost intimidating, but as soon as she speaks, you see how sweet and charming she is.

To be fair about the cool sculpting...that's why they have you sign a waiver because what happened is a possible complication. And she didn't have 1 or 2 areas done just in case. She had 10 or 11! And this wasn't testing a small area of hair to check for allergies, this was a medical procedure with possible horrible side effects. It's the same as suing Botox for having a negative reaction after having 30 full needles worth in your face.

She never felt like she had to look like everyone else. She looked more like the originals from the 40's and 50's. The pink hair was absolutely mind-blowingly stunning in its time.

She speaks of those past times, shows, and people with such affection. Great to hear a model who has so enjoyed her work and remembers so fondly those she worked with.

The Chameleon. The Goddess. The OG. She was the leader of the Trinity. She was a trailblazer and a muse. She was someone that other supermodels and designers looked up to. She’s EVERYTHING.

@@jonahr.1236 she had coolsculpting on her under chin area and it had a reaction that did the opposite of what it’s supposed to do. there were some cruel unflattering photos of it in the media and she didn’t feel confident being in public for a while. i hope she gains confidence to be in public without having to hide her chin in the future

She was the peak 90s supermodel, her unique nose and short hair made stand out so much. She's still absolutely stunning and it saddens me to know she had such a poor experience with cool sculpting and feels so damaged by it.

THREE MONTHS AGO!!! SHE LOOKS LIKE LINDA EVANGELISTA!! A star is re-born and her name is Linda. She looks stunning, I’m truly out of breath seeing her after her medical issues and trauma, still looking like a beautiful dove. ❤️

That's a great idea. She always said she wanted to work behind the camera because she loved fashion and even if she'd never been a model she would always want to work in fashion in some capacity. At the very least she should do a podcast or something like that.

I felt the same. Linda is my all time favorite supermodel, and when I found out about her cool sculpting story, I felt so bad for her. It felt like it was the downfall of the best of the best. But, no she proved us all wrong. She turned her pain into courage and strength by coming forward with her truth, and despite all the coverage, she still showing us her face. I'm so glad for her return. Long live the Queen of the supermodels.

She did admit in the Vogue story that she still coping with accepting her new look and learning to love herself again, hence why she still covered up with that hat and face wrap. I appreciate her honesty, courage, and humility. It must have been some really dark times for her to undergo his internal pain all by herself. So glad she chose to come out into the light, where she belongs.

"Linda" literally means "beautiful" in Portuguese and Spanish. That name really fits this woman.

Linda Evangelista is a true artist. For her, modeling isn't just about looking beautiful. It's about imbuing a sartorial creation with visual magic. Her references to the craftsmanship and labor behind certain outfits show that she really appreciates fashion as art. She is rightfully proud to have been instrumental to the creative process of these couturiers.

I love how she's remembering her experiences and the people with whom she worked with such fondness and humility.

The most super of super models. She genuinely knows and loves fashion. I bet she is depressed by the state of the industry today but her legacy will live on. None of these so-called 'icons' of today can't even come close to her and her star power.

I’m so glad to see her back! I remember sometime in the 90s a number of photographers talked about how she was their favorite model. Because she was really playing different roles with each outfit she was photographed in. They said she worked incredibly hard and it wasn’t that she just stood there and smiled. She worked each look like they were different characters. 🌟🌟

She’s fashion Royalty for sure! I’ve loved every one of her looks. No one will ever compare to her. I wish she could understand how beautiful she still is and will always be. She is GOAT ❤️

When I was a kid I would always mistake Linda Evangelista with Milla Jovovich. When I was a kid I always loved seeing Linda in the covers of magazines that my friend's parents get in the mail. She always looks amazing! She's such an astonishing chameleon. You can give her all the different hairstyles, looks, and clothes and she'd just look so perfect in them like she was made for that look.

While you might see a weird nose...it is unique (and therefore adds, in her case, to the elevation of how she was perceived by those in the modeling world). Just like someone might've said Kate Moss has weird teeth...but it actually gives her character and adds to her beauty. Beauty isn't in perfection, but in the je ne sais quios...that indescribable, ineffable, quality that some have aesthetically. I happen to see many people as beautiful, way outside of the conditioned, narrow, cultural views..due to working with thousands of people (in healthcare) and I see beyond limited views. It's a lovely way to perceive the world.

I almost teared when she mentioned her love for her fellow supers (Naomi,Christy,Tatjana and Cindy) when speaking about the famous 90s Peter Lindbergh cover. It really seems they have such a beautiful friendship and connection. 🖤 They were literally part of the supermodel version of old Hollywood! (The best era of models forever).

Her facial structure will always make her one of the most beautiful women in the world. So sad that the negative side effects of these procedures aren’t made as clear as the positives.

Ahhh Linda Evangelista talking about the 80s and 90s, back when supermodels were actually super. I used to read Vogue from cover to cover back then, amongst other magazines. Magazine covers and photos were excellent back then because they featured models and not celebrities. She’s a beauty and it’s so good to see her.

You can hear her emotions in her voice. I hope she is ok & that she feels beautiful. Much love to her & British Vogue for making this happen x

Never liked her nostril show.

I think it’s incredibly sweet that she chose two of her teachers to present her award. What a humble and thoughtful person she is!

I love her comments about her model friends. She is amazing.

I absolutely love Linda Evangelista--what an absolute GOAT haute couture model. She really does stand out. I actually got a little teary with happy emotion seeing her on the cover of Vogue 2022. The 90's, IMO had the most iconic & exquisite models.

Its so so shocking to me to see that she's still so absurdly beautiful and perfect at almost 60. What a talent, what a supermodel, what a perfect beauty and glamour and elegance. Thank you British Vogue and the Fashion World for bringing her back to where she belongs. Linda, we just love you the way you are!

My favorite of all time- she really put the super into supermodel. She's just so uniquely beautiful and stunning, and omg she seems so sweet too. I am so happy to see her back!

I have been waiting for the Linda reemergence forever, that I nearly wept when I saw her on the cover of British Vogue and back in the spotlight! I never want to see her go away again...so statuesque, the definition of SUPERMODEL. She looks divine! She was totally missed at the Versace fashion reunion with all the 90's greats, I would love to see something like that again.

@@AngelaMay66 unfortunately she underwent some surgery that she wound up having an adverse reaction to. For this shoot she had Pat McGrath do her makeup and use tape to pull the skin on her face so she’d look more like her old self, the scarves hide the tape

First time ever hearing Linda speaks. So sweet. Followed fashion of the 80s-90s greatly, my love for fashion photography and I have heard of all the people she mentioned. Collected a lot of fashion magazines back then. Wish I could have a quiet afternoon tea w Linda and hear her reminiscent stories about the fashion world. It was like a big party of all the great fashion talents. And it felt like the party never ends because these people have worked so well together to make things look so great. It’s art

fantastic seeing her back, I'm glad she was abled to break through her depression and find beauty in herself again.

I have fallen in love with her when i saw her in George Michael's video 'Freedom'. She was an inspiration for me since then. I have also got my hair short and dyed blond 😁👍

This woman is the definition of supermodels for me and what they represent. I’m 30 years old and her face is the first image to appear when someone mentions about supermodels-of course, the others are surely Christy Turlington, Claudia Schiffer and Naomi Campbell.

I watched this video sobbing because different from other supermodels linda seems really proud of her legacy and professional portfolio...she´s not only a fashion legend,she respects and comprehends the meaning of her career to fashion industry as a whole,she´s an ""insider""...

Icon. I read about her troubles recently and have been hoping she is ok. Thank you BV for highlighting this great, beautiful person!

It's so great to see Linda back in the spotlight, I hope she gets to overcome her health problems. I miss that era of the early 90s when all these fierce women were everywhere.

Her most iconic moment no question was the yellow gown closing for John at his SS 1995 show though, a show that we only now start to recognise and admire as John's peak of design. I'll never forget it. If glamour could be put in an image, it would be her in that dress, so ethereal, floating down the runway. I swear it was slow-motion in real life. I still remember Franca Sozzani, who had been watching the show as earnestly as all the other guests (because it was pre-Givenchy John after all! you don't have that kind of tension and anticipation for every look anymore, it was such an electric atmosphere back then), and who just erupted in amazed laughter of delight when she saw her, that very "of course" reaction. And it was the right reaction! Linda in that dress just felt right, she was the last cherry on top that made it perfect. It was evident, it was meant to be. She was barely real on that catwalk, almost disappeared into other realms of unknown splendour. We haven't reached this kind of moment in fashion again, and Linda being the model is a huge part of that. She is that model, no one else could have been her

You probably know already that she said it’s her favorite dress that she’s worn, and that Galliano gifted it to her. I’m not sure if she still has it? Or maybe she already donated it? I don’t know.

I love Linda Evangelista, the nineties were my teen years, so the supermodel era is apart of my youth. I loved them all but Linda just exemplified it.

She is the model’s model, the OG high fashion supermodel. I have such strong memories of growing up in the late ‘80s & ‘90s and getting so excited when she was in a magazine-a Linda Evangelista cover was an EVENT. Linda will always be the GOAT!
