+Janice Abreu I absolutely agree! My aunts have never been like that towards me. We see each other and we are practically strangers. Luckily I am very close with my sister and we plan on raising our children "together".

'A generation can be changed by one person.' That's something i'm going to remember. I'm not from the type of family society deens as acceptable/perfect. And watching your families vlogs often upsets me because I don't have what you guys have. But I am going to be THE CHANGE. I'm going to start my own family and make it what it should be. This part made me tear up.

That is the sweetest thing that you Bonnie care for your nieces and nephews as much as your kids that just shows that you and your family have a really strong bond even though you might not live near each other you are all amazing people and role models for your viewers

You are an amazing mom and aunt, and I would give everything to have an aunt like you, because I sadly don't feel like I am anyone's niece, even though I have lots of aunts and uncles.. i did go back and watch the last years thanks giving. love this holiday because most of the vloggers i watch are american so its all festive. I'm from england so we don't have this but it does get me in the christmasy spirit

Oh Bonnie, I have been watching you for a while now and I always find myself rewatching your older vlogs. You remind me so much of your mom and somehow I always end up crying/tearing up. You are one of the sweetest souls that I know. In this video you sound just like your mom and I think its so precious. My parents always bicker, but they're a product of unhappy families, I'm lucky to know that they love me despite their flaws, you just need to remember that every parent is a person and can't be the thing you want them to be in your mind. I have a twin, so that's a bond like no other and two older brothers :) we don't see much of our other family, and it's a shame that they don't want to be around us; especially my grandparents who didn't like the role so much. I love your family bonnie and I aim to make my future family better in light of what I don't have; through the example of yours :)

I too am a member of the LDS Church but only since 2010 and it has changed my life. I work with the primary and the kids like to ride on the back of my electric wheelchair. That's really sweet of you to say that you are grateful for your family and so on. This thanksgiving wasn't the best for me and my family, my parents are separating and everything didn't go so well while my husband and I were there. My dad always said grace before dinner and this time he didn't and for some reason it was heartbreaking. To make matters worse my mom complained about the food being cold and stuff (she worked all day and we decided to wait to have dinner with her). Later she was upset that my dad didn't get the turkey out of the oven right and she blamed me for it as well and called us stupid and that we don't have any brains... Even though things were rough I am thankful for the food we had on the table and the roof over our heads. And for anyone reading this that had a rough thanksgiving as well I hope you have better days to come.

I know I'm late to the party Bonnie but truly, Happy Thanksgiving to your little family & to both yours & Joels Families. We don't celebrate Thanksgiving here in the UK & often say what we're grateful / thankful for over Christmas period (& of course, feast upon lots of delicious food & take long naps..!) I became very emotional when you spoke to Cooper. My brother, sister in law, niece & nephew live in Derby who I adore so much, 2 nieces from my brother live in Essex with their mother - they're now divorced, he is re-married & has relocated due to work to San Diego California with his new wife & 2 sons who I have never met. I miss my nieces awfully. I saw them for the first time in 2 years a few weeks ago, & my eldest niece is now 13 - she's grown into a young woman, watches youtube families like me, & put her arms around me unexpectedly before she left. I told her how much I loved her before having a little cry after she left. My family isn't close, which makes me terribly sad, but..

..I do my upmost to make sure I keep in contact with my nieces, nephews & eldest brother / his wife who we see once a year. After 2 miscarriages myself years ago & finding out I am now disabled as well as having fertility problems, the likelihood of me having children is very very slim, but the way my beautiful nieces / nephew have been brought up makes my heart swell with such intense pride that I truly believe our little family tree will be whole again, thanks to a wonderful upbringing. Your message is so true to the young generation - never lose hope! It will all come together one day without you even realising it. Thank you for letting us be apart of your special thanksgiving day.
