Sure seems like a candidate for one more axle. Even a legal tridem would top at 51k, so 54k is really pushing it. Safety first comes to mind.

Pretty short? That's nothing! Our FD's 2500 gallon pumper tandem tanker is 31' 4" with a 195" wheelbase.

Could this be classified as a rescue tanker if not why?

Hi Michael! To answer your question, YES. Here in Missouri they would consider it a pumper rescue with a lot of water, however in some rural areas they would call it a tanker rescue with an "engine" next to it.

This tanker has a Hale 2000 GPM Pump!

So a giant engine with rescue gear.

Exactly why is there a desecrated flag on the front? Nothing more than Police gang sign...disgusting
