There was that weird blowback from Woodstock 99 trying to blame Durst for the rioting and not the organizers who thought a blazing hot air force base with no shade would be a good place for a festival. Durst emerges victorious however.

Man so glad to see the metro is back open because I saw a news report at the start of the pandemic w Joe Shanahan saying he was permanently closing the club and I was so upset because the 1st concert I ever went to was at the metro and I've seen so many memorable shows there. Anyone ever notice Fred Durst is always yelling at his monitor guy to turn down or fix his monitors lol. Watch any live performance from over the years and I guarantee you'll see him mentioning the monitors to his monitor guy. I just saw them at Lollapalooza and the same thing happened there with his monitor guy. I love Fred.. hes a genuine dude and hes become very humble over his career compared to back in the early 2000s. He always shows love and appreciation to his fans.
