my name is Lou Reed and I lost 3 year of my life on heroin
Limmy's stream is the only place in the world where you'll hear the words "it's not Kiri Te fucking Kanawa".
So many tangents, bloody brilliant 😃
Come to the streams for the up-to-minute cultural commentary, stay for the mouth comparisons.
Love when Limmy's passion for music goes full on homoerotic crush - 44:10 /whispering/ "puure fancied this guy man"

You start to believe everyone is in this. If someone told me Anita Dobson, Rolf Harris, The Bee-Gees, Cannon and Ball, and Sade was in this, I'd go "Oh yeah, they were weren't they"
'it's just 'I'm taking heroin' - yeah unlike Limmy's favourite music genre, 'I'm taking acid'.
So weird that Limmy has my exact feelings about Homelander's mouth

Avant-bald hahaha
There’s a great clip on KZread of Opie and Anthony talking about Lou Reed, so funny.
Makes Bowie who I love sound exactly like Jimmy Saville somehow. Thanks for making me laugh Limmy ya wee bastard.
This was the crest of the golden age of hip hop, and all they could muster was that bloke out of FLC?
Laurie Anderson is a far more interesting musician/artist than Lou Reed. 'O Superman' is a fucking beautiful song. The song she did with Peter Gabriel, Excellent Birds, is a tune I recommend too.

What a fucking dire song, no display of these artists abilities

I dont get the VU he says ah well great comedy pish music taste
The BBC never catered for my musical taste ever. All I seen here was the usual old mainstream bollocks. Trying to be creative and diverse including Burning Spear and Lesley Garett in this line up. The BBC has never had it's finger on the pulse, they've always been out-of-touch in everything as demonstrated here and remain so to this very day.

Finger on the pulse = mainstream.
Is Laurie Anderson really avant-garde? I see her as more just straight up art pop. Her music, anyway.
I love living in the post celeb worshipping world, this was naff when it released and its aged like milk.
