I'm not sure he didn't understand how it was accomplished. Tango is the one who expressed confusion, but if you listened to Etho he's shocked that "you figured out *how* to..." do the thing. Not that they figured out it was possible period, but they executed it. Etho might well know, but have been sitting on that card. I wouldn't put it past him.

I look forward to seeing The Bad Boys’ Big, Brown, Bodacious, Beneficial, Bread Bridge being built. It matches their blatant boisterous, blissful, bubbly attitudes and pairs nicely with their bizarre, boundless, bovine, bullheaded, but bearable babbling.

15:32 THAT WAS SO SMOOTH. I didn't even realize it was about to happen until Joel placed the minecarts. Despite Scar and Cleo both definitely knowing they were going to bomb them eventually, Joel still made excellent use of the situation and silently sent the carts rolling, even got them both in one go! Seriously how does Grian manage to be part of some of the most insane kills in each of these series?

If, for some reason, the bad boys become mad boys and betray each other - as true bad boys would - and Grian becomes a sad boy on the bread bridge, he could change the name to "The Great Grain Gateway" Edit: Wow, this is the most likes I've *ever* gotten, thanks!

Here I watched Scar's episode and thought that the Bad Boys spent some time discussing the bread bridge pros and cons for a while and here I come to Grian's video to find out there was like maybe 2.7 seconds of hesitation before they started placing cobblestone lol

Netherite armor does reduce how much damage you take more than diamond, just through armor toughness, not through armor bars. It also gives knockback resistance, which might help you from getting knocked off cliffs and such

Yeah, my understanding of armor toughness is that you have higher damage reduction the more damage you take. So you might take a similar amount of damage when being hit by, say, a zombie. But something more damaging like fall damage or explosions or axe crits you will take much less damage than diamond

The one thing about this series is that losing a life is slightly less stressful than in the post three seasons. After all there's always a chance to get time back.

I think the panic is really going to set in when people are down to an hour or less and they have no choice but to try and kill someone. Time instead of lives does create a different dynamic but I think it'll still be interesting to watch.

If you die, you lose 1h, if you kill someone, you gain 30m, so it's always a net "time loss" for the total server time (x2 for boogie man), so there is more leeway, but it's not 1-1

Use beds to mine netherite!!! Ancient Debris is basically immune to explosions. So, you place the bed, back up a bit, put a block between yourself and the bed (to keep from getting killed), then "sleep" in it to blow up a huge chunk of terrain with intentional game design, look to see if this has exposed any ancient debris, then repeat. It's faster than just mining even if you HAVE an efficiency pick, and wool is generally cheap. Place the beds along a chunk border and bring fire resistance potions for optimal efficiency. Also please use some of the amazing bread puns the other commenters are suggesting. :)

i never watched anything but hermitcraft from Grian, recently started watching these mini series. "grainbow road" SENT me.

I love that the ridiculousness just started from Joel suggesting this weird new idea of expanding the wheat farm outward, and that turned into the whole saga of Bread Bridge™

I’m not sure that netherite armor is all that better armor-wise but it certainly is worth the knockback resistance, especially if you’re spending lots of time high up on a bread bridge!

@@drwafflebottom3197 if you use an enchantment table and pick unbrakeing 3 for instance there is a higher chance you also get protection and if you use an anvil it should cost less to enchant things

It's these ridiculously dumb jokes that make me love the life series, bad boys bread bridge is incredibly wholesome and I'm all for it. Reminds me of the aHA jokes that made my sides hurt

idea: explode the entire nether, exposing the ancient debris mine it and sell it

You could set up a Respawn Anchor in the Neather. Nobody would ever think to look for you there, and you can ambush the enemy by going through their portal (or portaling into their base)

it is going to be super interesting to see how what is essentially becoming a sky highway between bases is going to affect the late game when the murdering starts happening for real
