As a NBC worker this flavor is paying homage to the original wedding cake. This is inspired by the original wedding cake flavor from the 18th century which is almond with a hint of buttercream icing. This is our take on that. This is our only white cake that doesn’t have white chips. White chips in our batter = dense cake. No white chips = light and fluffy cake. All our cakes have signature cream cheese frosting. We never add anything to the frosting itself. We may add like a caramel or peanut butter drizzle, but the icing itself is always just regular cream cheese icing. And the sprinkles on top are meant to add a crunch. All our cakes are made from our proprietary ingredients so we can make all our different cake flavors. This has almond extract so a special batter is to be made. So just a dollar up charge. In comparison our White chocolate raspberry and vanilla both use our white cake base with chips so we can produce those easily and just add the raspberry to the second half of the batch. So a little insight to the dollar up charge. Im glad you enjoyed the bundtlet though and can’t wait for your review of our next summer flavor. Which is sure to be a fruity hit ! 🍍👀

Oh my how I love wedding cake 🍰. This one looks delicious. Absolutely you can ruin a recipe in a heartbeat with very little almond extract. I would for sure buy this one. Great review

I went to a caloric counter site that gives calories for everything usually. I would just type in exactly what I am looking for. It had 67 entries for NBC items but guess what? NO WEDDING ALMOND BLISS! So, they really don't want us to know. LOL Their bundts, minis, bundtinis, etc. range from 210-330 though there are a couple of outliers at 190 (Key Lime 140) and a couple over (Lemon Raspberry 340) but they are larger, so it makes sense. I would imagine this fits into the higher end of the range though nothing with almond is listed at all on the site I checked.

Looks delicious. Just comparing against what we get here. £3.25 you can get a red velvet cake from Sainsbury’s, Sainsbury’s brand, which has 4 realistic servings. Granted I’m comparing a brand to a store brand but I’d still go with Sainsbury’s. This does sound great though, so if money is no issue, I’d grab one of these. Thanks for the review.

I enjoyed it but I don’t think it should be a dollar more.

I was hoping you and Kevin would review this. Ugh, I don’t think I would like that spongy wet texture. You’re right, you don’t want to overdo the almond. I agree with the extra dollar. I think this one will be a pass for me. Thanks for a great review.

I guess I might have an unpopular opinion, because I don't like almond flavoring, let alone in cake... If someone chose almond for their wedding cake, I think I'd pass... My idea for a wedding cake would be a lemon with a very light layer of whipped cream frosting (like a naked cake). Maybe with raspberries too. Or strawberries... Idk. Who said I'm getting married? 🤣

Thank you for the review! This time, you're absolutely correct. They do NOT have the nutrition listed anywhere 🤪 I'm also curious about the flavor! You said all the almond flavor is coming from the frosting, but NBC's description says it's all in the cake and that the frosting is the same as always 🤔🤷‍♂️

I am with Kevin ... good cake but got NO almond flavor. I was really disappointed. All I tasted was cream cheese frosting, and that is true of most of their cakes. They need to use more flavor in the cakes, and they need to flavor the frostings, otherwise it always overpowers the flavor of the cake. I am pretty much OVER NBC until they get their act together and give me more flavor for my money.
