The police representative said these protest had cost up to 12 million in policing costs. Hamas is a recognized terrorist group . They are definitely not peaceful protest. If I was Jewish I would not feel safe.

I have heard protests condemn Hamas, most Palestinians just want peace and to live a normal life that we take for granted here in Canada. So why don't you actually go listen to one of the protests near you and you'll hear many people at them condemn Hamas for what they have brought upon their people. and if you refuse to listen to it, then stop labelling all of them as pro-hamas. There's never been "little Immigration." There 's been periods here or there with little immigration, however the country has been built on immigration. No immigration means no food, ( white guys aren't going to work 12 hours a day on a farm outdoors during the summer). No construction, No roofers, no landscapers, no one working in slaughterhouses, and so on. Canada has always relayed immigration to get things done.

Yet the cops arrested a journalist practicing journalism ?!

Nobody has the right to disrupt the majority of the population to protest their political beliefs. Last week the City of Toronto had spent over $12 million policing these mass demonstrations. Many people have been aggressive and abusive to the police who are just doing their jobs.

There is a lot of lawn in Toronto-get off the street!!!! You don’t have to march down Dundas and Avenue Rds. At least the anti-vaxxers in the city tend to stay on the grass at Queen’s park. It’s not bringing sympathy to your cause when you double my commute time home. 😡

Yes this is why we won’t be visiting Toronto this summer. Not going to take my family where we will be disrupted. An knowing the police will not protect our rights. No sorry Toronto you will get none of our tourists money this year an possibly never again. An shame on the 6

Unbelievable, literally anybody else carrying a 'replica' of a firearm or explosive would be *at the very least* stopped and questioned by police, first to determine if it is real, then to determine if any laws were broken. No more should fanatical views and actions be allowed to paralyze our system. We need to act and show this type of behaviour does not belong in a civilized culture. And if you want to act civilized, then you should be held accountable before the laws and rules of the society you are living in, namely Canadian. It is hard to think of this type of action, saying the things they are saying and supporting this type of 'parade' (more like charade) is anything but hate speech.

This reporter is certainly right what he is saying .. what is going on with our government.. why can’t they stop those criminal acts .. it will be to late when people get hurt over those kinds of protest .. I can understand why the Jewish community feel unsafe in Canada when this type of hateful protest is allowed to go on . This is not the Canada a senior person like me grew up in . We should show respect for everyone not hate

Exactly 💯 . These protests have no right taking over our streets . I'm sick of it . I live in a small town of 500 people, and some idiot painted the upside down triangle and Arabic writing on our main road .

You know what's ironic? If Islamic extremists acted like this in Saudi Arabia or the UAE (Muslim countries), they would be swiftly removed from the streets, arrested, beaten, and then deported. When lenient laws prevail, crime and hostility rise due to the lack of consequences. Unfortunately, Canadian laws permit peaceful protests, so as long as they aren't engaged in looting or vandalism, they can continue. As a Canadian citizen, I've witnessed significant changes in this country over the past 20 years. The Canada of two decades ago was fantastic, but politicians, in their pursuit of political correctness and securing votes and funding, are leading Canada toward destruction. It's disheartening that after so many wonderful years here, I am compelled to leave just to avoid witnessing the downfall of the country due to the government's mistakes.

@@66fitton I am all for protesting if it brings on change that benefits the country, but the "unfortunate" side to this is when the protest, no matter how peaceful, supports views that are extremist favoring backward ideologies. You could have the most peaceful protest about allowing the mass clubbing of baby seals, but that doesn't make it right.

And then why are 150 RCMP riot police standing in the ditch across from 20 people protesting the carbon tax outside Cochrane. Why are these 150 officers not standing around the Hamas protests in Toronto. And as the legal requirement of a police officer is to wear a badge, and have a namectag, why are these 'fake' police allowed to stand with automatic weapons, no badge, no name, and some with an antifa face mask. Laws are either laws, or if ignored, then chages should be levied on police for not following legal laws or else I will call them antifa, new form of urban guerrilla warfare hired and paid by WEF Trudeau to intimidate and harm Canadian starving citizens.

I worked at the Israeli Consulate in Toronto in 1987 during the 1st Intifada. We had to leave the building by the back door as the 7th century mob had taken over part of Bloor Street. This has been going on for a long time.

Thank you, it's refreshing to see an unbiased and informative look at what's wrong in our country.
