Manny and I were staying in Brussels, Belgium and took the Eurostar Train - which was under an hour to the Gare de Lille Europe for a day trip to Lille to enjoy the Christmas Market and check out the stunning, and colorful city of Lille, France.
Lille is the capital of the Hauts-de-France region in northern France, near the border with Belgium. It’s a cultural hub and bustling university city today and renowned for its friendliness.
