Serenity Moon No worries love! Lilith is the goddess of darkness and demons. She also represents female power and independence as in Jewish mythology she was the first wife of Adam before Eve and refused to be subservient to him thus being cast out by God and made queen of demons. She's a dark goddess but by no means evil.

Serenity Moon Lilith is the Mother of all Demons and supposedly Queen of Hell. She was actually first cited in a satirical work, turns out, and has no basis in Christian mythos. I find that disappointing, because she's a very interesting creature. If I wasn't so invested in angelology, I'd study her more. Anyways, the story of Lilith goes that she was made from dust like Adam, and she was told by God to be the wife and servant of Adam. She refused to bow down to Adam and God casted her out of Eden for the sin of disobedience. In her darkness, she grew bitter and hateful of God and all humans. She would then proceed to try and kill all infants, so that the descendants of Adam (and Eve, who was made from Adam's rib) would be wiped out. Hence, the creation of the lullaby, originally called Lilith-byes; singing to your child would bless them, and since Lilith is unholy and demonic, she would be rendered unable to touch them. Lilith is also known for attempting to bring all human men to sin, so they would be tormented in Hell one day, as a revenge against Adam and his descendants; Adam and Eve were told that one of their children (meaning descendant) would redeem them, and that man is Jesus, so, she targets all men in hopes of destroying the Messiah. How does she cause men to sin? More or less, she's described as a succubus in which she climbs into the homes of men and steals their semen and later gives birth to demons. Other accounts describe her as a seductress and temptress who lures men away either by just being a pretty woman or, if the man is in a relationship, masquerading as his significant other. TL;DR Mother of all Demons who murders human babies and torments men. If anyone's in a mood for dark humor: she's exactly like a third wave feminist and that's why she's considered a feminist icon.

Solid Water Not necessarily. First wave was right to vote in presidential elections (women could already vote in local levels, just not guaranteed a vote for the president until after the 19th Amendment). Second wave was equal pay. Those two waves are the only ones with any real reason behind forming a movement. Third wave feminism is pushing for women superiority and amassing more privileges than men have under the guise of equality. It's unethical and inhumane. Children die because women are given custody despite several credible reports of abuse, child neglect, and/or substance abuse. I could go on and on but I didn't come here just to talk crap about other women.

I used this song when the Witch in my D&D campaign unknowingly completed a ritual that allowed Lolth to usurp her mortal body and return to the physical realm. She got to play the last fight against the BBEG as "Lolth" but the Witch we had known for months was truly gone. A few of Lolth's features reminded the adventurers of the Witch, but their ally was not in there anymore. Great moment I'll remember for the rest of my life, and so will that player. This song made that moment truly impactful to her. A few years later, those same players would trudge into the Demonweb pits, to slay or save Lolth, or what was once the Witch, one of them died because of it, and the legend grows till this day.
