Where was lilmae when Val was living in Dallas with Gary before moving to California?

How dated was that kitchen? My parents had our house built in '70 & harvest gold with stained pine cabinets were all the rage.

Yeah, it was pretty dated by that time. But then again Val was never really one to keep up w the times!

The wallpaper here is new, but the appliances and cabinets are the same from 1979. Later on they eventually paint the cabinets white and update the appliances. In the 1997 reunion movie I noticed the set designer moved the stairs back from the door a few feet and got rid of the step down into the kitchen and living room and it was now all level .Those changes should have been done during the series to make the Ewing home more spacious like it was in the reunion.

He suspected they were his. He didn't officially find out til 87-88 season, after Ben left!
