So I'm pretty sure Lilac Wine was written by a guy name James Shelton, and has been covered by a bunch of great singers like Elkie Brooks and Eartha Kitt. The version I'm doing today though is Jeff Buckley's take on Nina Simone's version.
So technically I'm doing a cover of a cover of a cover :D Anyway, Jeff Buckley is always hard to do justice, and no one can compare to him really. This is just my attempt at a passable recording of one of my favorite songs. Enjoy :)

Been listening to Jeff Buckley sing this since 2019 and have never, SERIOUSLY NEVER, heard this level of emotion and detail in the vocals since hearing anyone other than Jeff, and now I have. I have enjoyed some covers lightly, but this one I really really listened to and loved every second. Amazing, keep up the good work.
