I think both are important.

I don't really think of myself as a magician really xD i just see us as normal human beings like the rest of society that can just look at the world through a different lens, it's not a gift but a skill, like language or music, anyone can do it, i just happen to be one of those individuals

Thank you for acknowledging the mirroring you did in editing (say, at 6:03), though -- I love the technical aspects of film. And such a *wonderful film* this is -- just watched it with my artist life partner (of 41 yrs.), and experienced tears of joy for the perspective and gifts she brings to the world. ♥

peek118 sorry I read your question incorrectly without my glasses..lol. I appreciate the dramatization when she is drawing her pictures and what she sees, and the movements between the actors and artwork. Also near the end as she's passing on the street, the details you guys put into the display of each building going from urban dreariness to her idea of perfectness. It just all flows beautifully. I don't know if cinematography was the correct word, but I feel as though that behind the scenes, to have just the right lighting, added with the animation, seemed appropriate.

Art is created in our imagination, so the cruel world couldn't touch nor destroy it.

Crayons are such an underrated art medium. And I love her hair

In most of these scenes, I felt like I already knew what she was going to imagine before she even drew it... daydreams are like getting a good night’s sleep except it’s daytime and you’re awake.

This video really got me...I use Art to escape from reality..from my dull life

Okay, but imagine a complete stranger staring at you and smiling, looking away scribbling on paper then staring at you again and then facing her book up towards your direction.

watching this made me cry... made me realize that i have lost the ability to be happy without relying on others. thank you for inspiring me to work towards loving myself (and the world around me) again.

This used to be me before I got into corporate jobs and they sucked the life out of me...I used to dream all day long and have hundreds of stories in my head to cope with reality. Also, I'm a painter and I used to draw, but after I got hired, I didn't had any time and energy left to draw anymore. I became very depressed stressed and overweight, and lost my spirit completely. Is important not to lose the child within you. It was the only thing that made me go thru the day. ..

The last scene of her re-uniting with her parents brought me to tears. ❤️ I wish we all can see life like this. In colors. No matter how gray everything seems. Our imagination is the limit. 🎈💟

She lives in her own little world where everything is beautiful, and nothing ever goes wrong. She spreads that joy through drawing and no one realizes how much power she has.

Not a single word.....thats the power of an Artist...🙌🔥 To all the Artists.....just love whatever you do, remember the world needs you, imagine a world without Picaso and Shakespeare...Love to all♥

The actress even looks like an angel. Like her sole purpose is to show us a little joy and happiness. To appreciate what we have, and not take life for granted; Healing us though her art. The end was a bit heartbreaking, perhaps that was her as a little girl with her parents at the beach. Nevertheless another masterpiece by Omeleto.

This was a beautiful video. We are never to old to use our imagination to have a lil fun

It gave me the same vibes I felt while watching "Amelie". Funny, kind and sad at the same time, ornamented with gentle music. Bravo and thank you for creating it!

This video. It’s beautiful. It’s so short. Yet I love it so much more than those hour long movies. Is it odd that I prefer this over Marvel’s Endgame? I often find myself daydreaming. Because the real world is so sad. I am lost in my own imagination. Amazed by what I see. When I get my head out of the clouds and back down to earth. I am always disappointed in what I find. Because all my dreams may never come true. The world will always be filled with sadness. And I cannot do much to change it. This made me tear up. There wasn’t even any talking. This short film was very touching. It gave me a feeling I can never find the right words to express. I love that feeling. Thank you.

This is the second time I watch this adorable gem of a short movie; it is beautiful.

As an artist/illustrator/cartoonist myself, I found this piece very uplifting. I like movies that blend reality with art/animation, kudos to the producer and to the cute actress.

Artists are so amazing. They gave color to our life, like, *literally.* I love this video. 🖤

Thoroughly enjoyed watching this. A wonderful actress with a pretty elfin smile goes about her day rewriting the script for the world around her, but it's only when I see her smile fully 2:33 & 5:16 that I truly appreciate what a truly beautiful human being she is. It is our unique attributes that make each of us special. There is however a more complicated footnote to the story that some may have missed (or chosen to miss). Her discovery of the revivified red carnation on her return home sparks in her the notion that her perhaps her artistic musings have an actual impact on the world, as opposed to being mere wishful thinking and, perhaps, coincidence. She eventually arrives at the somewhat troubling idea that if one can afect the other then perhaps the reverse is also possible and we see her draw herself into a happier time and place where, reunited with her parents, she can once again experience the joy that comes from being truly loved.

The last scene, imagining u with ur parents when they r far away from u or one or both of them has gone for forever........ is so heartwarming . I instantly imagined my father who is no more with us n only way to see him again is death 😢

this is magical, and magic is real. our perception is powerful

That was beautiful, especially as a creative person myself. For the longest time everything has been becoming more dull and yeah mundane, the days may be colourful and bright, but I've been emotionally losing sight of it. Seeing this, in a small way for its duration and even now has brightened things up.

Still beautiful none the less.

It makes the video when it shows what she used to create her art. She uses broken crayons and full pencils that she probably found or bought. It shows how much of her heart she puts into her work

What amazing choices! Color grades! Music! Low SFX! Minor use of wide angles! Like... a perfect short!

This is how I live life every day just to keep going. My imagined reality is so much better than anything out here. 🌠
